If i translate مُضَافٌ & مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ in English by Google Translate, than i get Added & Added to it. Is this the correct translation? If yes, can you please explain why it is called like that. Is the first word Added to the second word? I do not think that مُضَافٌ & مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ is always possess & possessor. for example: - eggs from the nest - (the bird is the owner, not the nest) - fish of the aquarium - (the aquarium is not the owner of the fish) - neighbor of someone - plural of sea - reaction of someone - operation of someone - visit of someone I find it very hard to understand, both in English and Arabic.

The Mudaf and Mudafilaih tofether is an arabic clause but it is not a complete sentence. So this structure needs other parts to be a full sentence. These parts can be a verb or a noun like: قلم محمد (mudafilaih clause) رأيت قلم محمد (full verbal sentence) هذا قلم محمد (full nominal sentence) I hope this made things more clear for you
