The قَالَ (Qaala) is a irregular verb. It has a weak letter in the middle root, it is also known as a 'hollow verb' الْأَجْوَف
Weak letters in Arabic are ا، و، ي
when و or ي is any of the root letters they do not follow the standard verb patterns.

    MashaAllah ❤ sir .....sir i want to learn modern standard arabic grammar including tenses and model verbs in the same as we study in English grammar...i know only English grammar very well...i need that book which includes all the English grammar tenses and model verbs in comparison with modern standard arabic grammar all stuff with harakaat and aeraab ....because a beginner can't understand the arabic without harakaat or aeraab

    Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry I do not know any book like this. Also, I only teach the basics of Quranic Arabic, and do not really have any expertise with Modern Standard Arabic.

    In my opinion its best to stick with original definition - AlMuzaaf is doubling of 2nd and 3rd root letters

    Walikumuslaam The subject of gender has been covered in previous lessons in these series. Please refer to the lesson on gender of an ISM. I am not clear as to what you mean by @hy are the moon, star and the sun mentioned as "female' (hunna)" Where did you see this example and in what context was it used ?

    Assalamu Alaikum ustaz. In sura Fussilat (Ha mim) , aya no 37, the moon, star and sun are mentioned as female (hunna). Why are the female here? Best regards

    He mentioned the moon and the son but also the day and the night and He say prostrate to who create all this things the night the day the sun and the moon .. Hunna (هن) is specific and (ها ) is more content والله أعلم
