Arabian horses: beauty and courage in form of a horse

Спорт

Arabian horses have been part of human history for centuries, especially in oriental culture. But their influence is also very high on western horses due to breeding programs where Arabian stallions were used to refine the breed. In the new episode of RIDE we are visiting breeders of Arabian horses in Kuwait where the breed is really popular. Learn more about the horses' history over the centuries and what makes the breed so special.

    My favorite breed since I was a child. I was fortunate to get a grey mare who was retired from Cal Poly Pomona's riding program for children. Beautiful and sweet beyond belief. Her training and manners were superb. Such outstanding horses

    They Arabians you are seeing in video are not actually white they are grey . They may look white but in reality they are not . A true Arabian only comes in the coat colors purebred horses with the coat colors bay, gray, chestnut, black, and roan. Black coat being the least found.

    My favourite breed of horse. I love the Arabian. My first horse I owned was an Arab, named Desert Sands, I called him Sam. I used him in Endurance riding, he was very good at this. I had many people who wanted to buy him. He was very nice natured with good manners. The horses in this video are stunning. I enjoyed this small documentary on the Arab. 🙏

    The saddest thing is to see how this breed has devolved in the last 80 years. From a horse that improved other breeds, we are left with a malformed head, no bone, and a show ring driven standard. A tragedy.

  • @mmca7288

    @mmca7288

    Sadly that is happening as they're trying to breed in the dishiest head and not understanding the consequences of those actions on the health of the horse. Arabian are beautiful the way they were many years ago and I just don't know why people can't accept that as they didn't need to have their breeding interfered with xo

    @@murphyshsu I was lucky enough to have a beautiful Mustafa foal that I trained as an eventer, and because of the shape of their mouths basically the roof of it is lower, so he was always worked in a bit that didn't have a single jointed, it had to be a double jointed bit, and yes he liked to play with the bit while standing idle for a bit of fun. If a single jointed bit was in his mouth the head tossing would start, showing signs of not being happy with it and it was changed immediately. There is scientific evidence done on this showing that a single jointed bit especially with a horse who had an active mouth that the bit would nutcracker on his tongue in his mouth and hit the roof of his mouth as well. I was taught the old style English dressage and everything else and wasn't on my horses mouth anyway. But I don't know with the changing of things how and actually bit would go in a head so dishy and a mouth so small and what effect it would have! A picture that I looked at of An Arabian looked more like a seahorse's head, granted yes it was a foal but I'd never come across something that looked that way and just thought that this has gone way too far......someone actually left a comment saying it looked deformed!!!! They are naturally beautiful looking horses in the first place and why can't humans just be happy with that?!?!?! So yes it makes me wonder about the comment u put in and where it's all going to end up stopping...... xo

    @@halfarabiansandminis197 lucky there are the ones that aren't just bred for led classes as they make great sport horse's and I had noticed that they were also doing western riding and I've come across one's doing harness too. And I think that is so great that people are realising that they're a very versatile eye catching horse 💖 and this is the reason why I'm not a supporter of the other type of breeding that's happening, and it's people like yourself that are keeping the original Arabs going 😍😀

From a video game tgat includes horses to a video about arabian horses' origins to the biography of the prophet Mu7ammad 3sws because it was included in the origin of the Arabian horse and then to islam ! Allahu akbar indeed. I invite you to sincere research of islam my fellow cowboy. If you are truthful to yourself, then i can provide you with information that may help you make your choice.

    The Arabs were famous in the past, before Islam, for their horsemen and horsemanship, and they were proud of their horses and wrote poetry and poems for them. After Islam, the Arabs invaded Iran with the Arabian horses that were created in the Arabian Peninsula. Iranian horses are very different from the Arabian horses. With all due respect to you, you do not know anything about horses.

    Non sense, this is not the place for religious stands. If the story of the race created by Allah and preserved by Mahoma is mentioned here is because is the belief of how the race was created. But we all know, horses comes from evolution. There's no God, no other deity. Is so silly as to mention Jupiter, Zeus, Poseidon or whatever god from other mythologies. Go preach where your fanatism is welcome.
