Just because we are in the Middle East doesn't mean there aren't black people here. Ethiopia is very close to Yemen and they have roots in the whole region as well. Eden herself is a black Jew in the same way there are black arabs (sudanese) and in other middle eastern countries there are many blacks, especially Ethiopians & East africans. Ethiopians in Israel is not a large community but they have enough numbers to be represented because they are part of the society. This song however isn't only Ethiopian, it is pan-African and some of the words are just made up for the Eurovision I prefered another song but good luck for her it's nice anyways ✌

I know about Sudanese people because I know that they're black and Sudan is African country btw Sudan in Arabic mean (blacks) so it's normal But in Israel it's different so that confused me a little bit 😅

Notice that half of the chorus is in arabic /orientel /Mizrahi style of music and dance. so...some Israeli-Jews have blond hair and green eyes. some "look" similar to "arabs" and even speak arabic (does Sudanese people are arabs?! can "real" arabs hear israeli songs!?...). and some came from Ethiopia like Eden's parents. Eden herself was born in israel so she knows hebrew and english. i dont think she knows arabic. but she might studied some arabic at school. she probably knows some amharic from home. the ethiopian-jews are very interesting community in Israel. The song is in 4 languages: Amhareic, Arabic, Hebrew and English - Feker Libi is in Amhareic means - my love. Sadly due to COVID19 the Eurovison was canceld but next year Eden will represent us with a new song.

Israel is a multicultural country. She is an Ethiopian Israeli Jew and there are many Ethiopian Israelis. So its not odd that she is representing Israel, but she is the first Ethiopian Israeli on Eurovision I think.

She is Black, have African roots(Ethiopian Jewish heritage), Israeli: born in Jerusalem and raised in Israel, Jewish, and representing her country ISREAL. She is not imported or she is not the only Black/African person in Israel, there are over 100K Ethiopian Jewish Israelis who are BLACK & AFRICAN living in Israel next to Syria lol...
