I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. Can you believe, I shot TWO-handed until I was 19! How any of my shots went in, remains a mystery. I was also a stiff, who didn't have cable TV until I was 18. So, going to college at USC, I was able to see Lakers and Clippers game, and Sarunas Marciulionis' 17-footer was one of the first one-handed shots I practiced. I would call it "Mar-see-UH-lee-o-nising," when hitting those shots. Even today, I shoot Sarunas Marciulionis 3-Pointers during shootaround.

This dude in only 27mpg averaged nearly 20ppg shooting over 50% and that was off the bench. If he doesn’t injure his knee we may be talking about a HOFer.

Remember how Basketball Digest used to have the "Who's Better," comparing two current NBA players? In 1991-92, a GREAT one would have been, who's better, Sarunas Marciulionis or Dan Majerle? Say it: Mar-see-UH-lee-oh-nis (not Mar-sa-loh-nis). Say it: MAH-jer-lee (not MAR-lee). Just like, Todd Lichti was pronounced LEE-CHEE, not LICK-tee. Jon Brockman is BRECK-man, not BROCK-man.
