If AQW Infinity is out, now I have a reason to watch the cutscene because in flash most of the cutscene are 10 fps slideshow depends on the action. maybe if they overhaul the bosses like "adding ground target attack so you can move away to avoid damage", that might be cool, than auto attack with different type of attacks and die from it

Anyone else think the progress thats been made is very little? I mean theyve been working on this game for years, and this is whats playable? At this rate i wouldnt be surprised if gta 6 drops before we get the beta.

In AQW there's a green bar under your mana which is called stamina. This is used for "running" and you run by pressing Space and then clicking wherever you want to go and you'll go significantly faster. They should get rid of the stamina bar but keep the "running" feature because let's be honest, the walking speed is quite slow + the jank makes it even slower. You know what the worst part is? Dragonfable has the "running" speed by default but AQW doesn't which tells me they willingly slowed down the walking speed so that they can artificially increase playing hours. This is important because AQW can show their investors this inflated playing hours to get more funds for the game. This is a scummy but common practice in games nowadays and I just want people to know about this. Game companies aren't you friends, majority of them are actively trying to take your money so always be mindful.

Artix entreeiment is a indie dev company they don't have Iinverstors or angel donors so I don't think your argument is all that fair. They are still not our friends that's for sure.

@@dhanriel4519 You know what the crazy thing is? If it is true (seems like it is, 1 Google search tells us they don't have investors, that's my fault) then that just shows how BAD they are at making games and they've never EVER played their own game. There are many things wrong with the game, too many to count, that they're not aware of but I know exactly how they can fix it. For 3 days, have everyone in AE play the game under a new account, no membership and ACs, just F2P with a few goals to hit during the 3 days: - Hit level 70 - Get rank 10 on every rep that's in the 13 Lords of Chaos - Get 5 classes (starter classes and oracle don't count) - Finish the 13 Lords of Chaos storyline and the stories after (I think it's called Queen of Monsters) Essentially, they're play testing their own game, a common practice in gamedev (which I know for a fact they never did) and after the 3 days, they'll know 90-99% of the problems that are tainting AQW and from there they can fix those problems.

Is it just me, or do the animations actually a look a little more wonky now that you can actually see them in 60 FPS? It'll be great though when you can actually be in the same room as other players with animations on and it doesn't lag like crazy. :) Whenever this finishes, it will be fun to replay the original storylines, but honestly, I hope they don't change the original 2008-2011 era art styles. I always preferred the look of Artix / regular Paladin to the new Artix/ArchPaladin.

is this basically an update for aqworlds? or is it an entirely different game

I feel like it’s a bit of both, going to be ran as a seperate game with a fresh start of sorts , while also running alongside aqw normal

That I would say is unlikely , as it would probably cause the new game to be unbalanced

Probs 1 year for alpha, 1 year for beta. 3 years till full launch...

Genshin impact was developed in 3-4 years and AE came up with this crap after more than a decade what a disappointment.
