Man i still remember when it was released. The classes you showed were almost the only classes available and max level was 20. And it was REALLY HARD to reach lvl20. Good ol times

dodge classes with thief enchantment (less damage but less likely to get hit) like rogue are usually a better choice, if there's no other players to help you when fighting bosses (though there are bosses that ignores dodge but they are usually ultra bosses for lvl 80+ so don't worry). also some maps like that boss room usually have people grinding so you only need to equip healer because even if you didn't deal any sort of damage the boss but healed a teammate fighting a boss credits you and finish the quest.

In my opinion, one of the major flaws of classes in general in this game is the fact we have over 100+ classes, yet less than half of them are actually useful. I also can name them on top of my head. To be fair, recent buffs to starting classes made them good enough to do escherion in a group of 4 players, one with each class, without failing a single time. At the same time I agree with you, I wouldn't like my LR or DOT being comparable to a Warrior either...

Good quality really, but some early game classes can help you beat him, also this game is intended to play in a group and less of a solo player way, that's why a lot of classes can complement each other in group fights, even endgame content requires basic team play(ahem ahem ultras)

Ty for the kind words 🙂 What classes are you talking about? (Thought I tested them all) And sadly yes, it's "intended" but almost all content the past 10+ years isn't. Classes imo complement each other for farming faster not killing ultras

@@Elevonday pirate and healer can do him, slowly for sure but it's doable Orcale as well. And well, they do, in a sense, look if you want to do ultra dage you can't do it by yourself, you need a group of 1 loo for haste and debuffs, archy pal for debuffs, and a ldk to debuff dage. If to go to old ultras, like alteon, you still need a group able to burst this boy down, sure you can do it by yourself but it's nowhere easy if you don't do it in a group.

@@Helimod Yep, in that you are right, most content is soloable(as long as you have a decent class), I'd like to believe it wasn't made for co-op in mind which fixes the problem Elevonday complains about. BUT this is a huge but, sometimes you do have weekly content that requires teamplay, ultras, bosses that chug at your health, wars that require the player base to farm together and etc, though I don't remember the last war weekly release tbh...

For most of the early content, co-op was the main/only way to beat main bosses back in the day, and yes most content is soloable in the case of you going outa your way to grab a class through a farm or with acs. I don't think its my problem, but the games problem that AQW's progression system sucks in the sense that your grinding exp, class exp or just farming a new classes to just do the base story witch makes new players quit.
