I have an annual pass and the best time is of year to go is January on a Wednesday when school is in. You will be one of the only ones there. If you don’t, get ready for LOOOONG lines.

For me Aquatica is just the perfect relaxing day away from the parks . There is plenty todo , it’s clean and is easy to navigate around . As with all these attractions parking costs but it’s the same for them all . Another great review 😃

one of the worst water parks in florida. shouldn't be finding rust on omaka rocka and a lack of QQ usability. run down ratty water park, 1 hr for food and parking. staff don't know a thing about quick queue

Aquatics is my favorite water park. I’ve been to all and love this water park!

Aquatica slides are unique and they have a wide selection, and sea world is next door.

i went to aquatica the rapid river was so much fun and the slides were so much fun

My fam went like a week ago and I rode A LOT OF RIDES IT WAS AWESOME

I’m going here today I’m so excited

I liked the all you can eat buffet at Aquatica, we dont have them in Nova Scotia! I enjoyed going in December and January. Not busy at all. Loved it!

Did they let you take go pros on the slides or did you have to have special permission?

There are some slides that got taken out and added from 2 years ago. I enjoyed it. I just wish it wasn’t as crowded & more of a lazy River haha. It’s definitely worth a visit tho!

It’s the water heated outside the summer months, like in legoland’s waterpark? Planning a trip the last weekend of April.

Very nice overview. I've been thinking I should go to Aquatica and you've done a good job of giving us the pros and cons so we don't get too much hype. Since I'm planning to get a Seaworld annual pass, I might as well try it since it's included. And frankly I'm too old to care about a lot of the rides. I'm looking for a nice lazy river and a fun tide pool. :)

You only get preferred parking and you have to have the Platinum pass now. Used to be you only needed the Gold pass…but that changed in Jan 2023…and they failed to mention that to me when I told them I wanted the Gold pass mainly for the preferred parking when I got my passes…in November 2022!! I won’t be renewing my Seaworld/Aquatica passes. Universal Orlando is more worth the money.

We've always had a great time at Aquatica would definitely recommend to anyone. When was the footage filmed? We were there in April and that chap coming out of the slide at the 30 second mark looks like me!!

My friends and I went to Aquatica and one of my friends has very severe food allergies which required him to have different food without any of the allergens present and they refused to allow him to bring it in. We tried to explain to the people at the gate that he couldn't eat anything at the park because of his allergies but they wouldn't listen, we all felt really bad for him because the only thing he could eat was grapes but he insisted that it was fine. although we enjoyed some of the slides, the insensitivity when it came to food allergies dampened our day quite a bit

This park opened on my 12th birthday March 1st 2008 I’m 26 now and still love this park and I was there opening day

For those who go to waterparks often I’d recommend buying a portable safe you can lock to your Sun lounger. I bought one this year and it’s already paid for itself by avoiding locker fees.

Hey there smart guy, you do know that people can just take the safe with them and crack it at home right?

I want to visit Aquatica just to see the Commerson's dolphins! Only 3 parks in the world have these and the other two are in Japan. Aquatica even has an interactive program with these dolphins where you can touch them and learn about them. I don't think the Japanese aquarium offer anything interactive with these dolphins, so it's a very unique experience at Aquatica.

Coming from someone who has lived in Florida since 2017. The best time to visit is during the school year. I live 90 minutes south of Orlando in Riverview. I have a annual pass to Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, SeaWorld and Aquatica. Never go to Disney or any theme park in the summer always go in the school year the wait time is cut in half and you can experience a lot more.

@@TYBO4696 yes with COVID restrictions the parks can only be at a certain capacity. You have to make reservations before anything else.

Yes!!!!yes!!!!its deffinetky worth it.I went last week and had the best time ever. Tip:I do not suggest dolphin plunge because it’s a very long wait and there’s a rope bridge so it’s kinda dangerous.and a lot of the time you cannot see the dolphins

Tip go to the rides as quick as you can you’ll go on way more

Everything was great but the sand full of ants 🤣 that was crazy

100% worth it, especially if you have kids. I prefer this over volcano bay. Easily.

i’ve been watching too many videos of dangerous theme parks aquatic is at least peaceful :)

My family is taking a trip to Orlando over our Spring Break. We are 100% spending 2 days in the Disney Parks but we are considering spending a third day either in another Disney park or a water park. The top choice for water park right now is Typhoon Lagoon but Aquatica also seems interesting. Do you have a comparison video for the two of them? Would love to check it out.

It depends on the ages of your children. Typhoon lagoon has beautiful themes but its more for younger kids. The slides are more mellow, and aging. The lines in the body slides pinch. I prefer tube slides personally, they have more and better slides I think at Aquatica. I love the all you can eat buffet at Aquatica. You eat and drink all day for the price of a meal at most parks. I always go to all of the waterparks and theme parks with multi day tickets. If I had to choose id pick Aquatica.

I went on a Tuesday April and we had to wait 30-40 minutes each ride and slides were closed

Did volcano bay last time & had a lot of fun,i’m sure aquatica will be an equally great day.

@@cece5464 Volcano Bay. It has more thrills there.

My kids and I just went to to Aquatica and to be honest everything he said is point on. I purchased the all day dining and the food was 🤮 the food was way over cooked and burnt the staff does not care about your questions or concerns. The rides are fun but if you don’t work out regularly be prepared to be sore the next day the stairs you have to climb on while carrying the equipment trust me you will feel it the next morning.

I’m a lifeguard there and nope . Closed slides need you to wear either not shirt or a rash guard type material .

Really nice it wasn’t really crowded the lines were not that even long and it was really fun!

Walkabout Waters, Tassies Twisters, Walhalla Wave, Kookaburra Cove......seems to be a lot of Australian Theme names. Is there a reason for that?

Just went to Aquatica this week with the family. Parking is now $30. Locker rentals start at $30 for small which is large enough for one backpack. Then I believe it's $40 for medium locker, $50 for large 😕.

Lockers are not mandatory and you can bring your own towels. They are however quite strict when it comes to snacks.

Do they actually check your backpacks? They didn’t even question my backpack at SeaWorld. We’re finally going to Aquatica and was hoping not to starve with their garbage food. But if they do make us leave our snacks, and we have to buy their shit food, I’m going to raise hell all the way to management if it tastes like garbage!

I’ve been on a Sunday recently. You need to plan to get to the park 30 minutes or more before opening time. If not, sadly you will wait a LONG time to just get into the park- not including parking. Also, make sure you have your tickets and or annual pass ready to go so you can avoid any confusion at the main gates. I also suggest water shoes for your family- most of the park has sprinklers that wet your feet but! There are some areas that do not and trust me- the pavement is HOT!!!! Not sure if you have been here before or if it’s your first time - if you have any questions just reply to this feed and I’ll help you as best I can. I hope you all have a great time!! 😃

I think it was very bold of them to reopen, and credit to all those who have worked hard to make it happen. To me, America is about having trust in people to make their own decisions which I respect. But of course, concerns about safety are super valid. TLDR - I’m sitting firmly on the fence.

Both are great parks. Volcano Bay edges it overall, but it’s more expensive.

Pretty much all parks are the same now. In this case you pay $40 then parking and a locker another $40 before even touching the water. Food is super expensive too.

nope, volcano bay is easily one of the top 10 water parks in the world, its so amazing to go to. Hawaii theme, has a whole volcano built from the ground, amazing slides, awesome lazy river. I would go every 3 months if i could but cant cause im in middle school lol
