18:43 Couple of clarifications on triple aquastat. 1. There are actually TWO differentials for the LO limit. One diff is 10 degrees below the LO limit. This diff is fixed at 10 degrees below the LO and can't be changed. The second diff is above the LO limit; this is the DIFF knob that can be adjusted between 10 and 25 degrees. How it works (example): LO limit is set at 150. DIFF set at 25 degrees. Burner will turn on at 140 (150 - 10 degree diff). Burner will turn off at 150 -10 + 25 DIFF = 165. In other words, when there is no call for heat the domestic hot water will be kept between 140 and 165. When there is a call for heat the circulator turns on at 165 but not below; this ensures enough domestic hot water for showers etc. 2. HI also has a diff fixed at 10 degrees below. Example: HI set at 180. On a call for heat burner comes on at 180-10 = 170, turns off at 180. This is shown in the Honeywell manual for the L8124A.

Very good video. Give me the whole picture of aquasta work. One more question... How the aquasta wire in to boiler control which come with new boiler?

You would have to read the wiring diagram that comes with the particular boiler.

I have a special situation and was hoping to get some direction on how to handle it. My OIL bURNER is outdoors attached to the house in a closet, and handled the domestic hot water with it's coils. I know, not very efficient... But it's original and have no other options financially to be worth it. I just hooked up a new Hybrid Water Heater to bypass the coils for domestic hot water so I don't have to run the boiler. Oil prices souring just cost me 1100 to fill tank for the warm weather to maintain hot water for 6 months. Probably uses more than another tank during the winter months equally 2200 or there abouts. Right now I turned off the furnace since I don't need the heat. Actually I also use a mini-split air/heat unit with a large propane fireplace for heating the house in the cold weather. Those 2 units work well together as needed to keep the house at 68 degrees without kicking on the furnace. Unless it gets down below single digits I don't have the thermostat calling for heat. The furnace is only maintaining the temperature of 160-180 if it needs to cycle through to keep the pipes from freezing in the crawl space. OK, so I think, what I want to do is bypass the sensor for the coils for domestic hot water so it won't be used anymore. I should mention now with the Hybrid Hot Water tank, I closed the domestic hot water valves on the furnace for pressure reasons. And also for now, until the cold weather comes, I just turned off the furnace completed. My question is how can I set this up so the Triple Aquastat L8124A and/or furnace is no longer supplying domestic hot water? Or is it not possible with the Triple Aquastat that the furnace has right now.

To be honest, I don’t know the answer to that. I’m going to probably say that it isn’t possible with the triple aquastat. I’ve never ran into that type of situation like yours.

Do you have a video that goes into how to wire a L8148E to a zone control panel? Currently trying to wire one to a SR502-4 and two circulator pumps.
