You only need a normal glass cutter Cutting glass is not difficult You only need to do it a few times or have someone who knows how to cut your glasses guide you You will cut the glass within one morning I'm sorry that it's difficult to explain in English To cut the glass 1: You have to cut a gentle line, you should not use too much force so that the glass is chipped so deeply that it will not cut the glass. 2: The glass must be clean and dry 3: You can use a bit of Diezel oil applied to the road you will cut so it will be much easier to cut the glass

for those foreigners who can't figure out how these tanks work: Vietnamese (also east Asia I guess) have different style of keeping fishes compared to westerners as the stock level might be 10 times what recommended in westerners' tradition. Consequently, the filtration systems are paid with a lot of attention. Importantly, fish poop need to be moved to filtration system as soon as possible. A tank with only overflow would be considered ineffective as the fish poop would be in the tank for quite some time before turning into pieces and overflow to the filtration. Also, for those who keep goldfish, discus, stingray, arowana, and other large fishes, a large sump filled with bio filter media is a must. Fish tanks are usually placed in living room so that any guests coming to the house can enjoy the tanks. A tank with big black overflow weir and pipes would be considered unsightly. Therefore, these kinds of tanks are very popular in Vietnam. The so called complicated parts in these tanks are the systems for water to go from tanks to sump and from sump to tank. Water goes to sump in two ways: from bottom and from surface. For the former one, the water enters small holes in the bottom of the clear side of the tank, goes through the big pipe under the tank to two chambers in the other side of the tank (the one with many glass chambers). Here, the water will go up until overflow to the bigger chamber in the middle of these two chambers. There is a pvc faucet in the middle chamber which leads water to the sump. There is a small hole in the top of the glass of the middle chamber. This hole is to prevent water from siphoning to the sump when the electricity goes out. For the later one, the water just overflow the tank inner side (the one with panel attached) in one chamber and goes through the faucet at the bottom of that chamber to go to the sump. The way water return from the pump to the tank is opposite to the way it goes from the tank bottom to the sump. The water goes from the pump to the faucet, which is attached to one chamber. Then the water rises and overflow to the next chamber and return to the tank through the holes at the bottom of the tank inner side. There is a hole at the top of the glass to prevent water from siphoning to the pump (then to the sump) when the electric goes out. Indeed, this tank can be build in a much simpler way and you can figure it out easily. The glass chambers and pipes in this tank look complicated because the water return to the the tank (from the pump) in three holes (one center and twos on both corner of the tank inner side). Also, he want the hole for collecting bottom tank water in the other side of the tank (so that fish poop will be collected very quickly). Making these tank is difficult (lots of glass cutting and silicone works), while the mechanism of water channeling in these tanks is not.

My friend Thank you very much for taking the time to talk to me and everyone here Actually, I just want to share my work with everyone in my spare time and talk to everyone Here I do not share a single tank that is considered to be perfect, it is just the very basic aquarium samples I do. There are many other tank models and tank models that change depending on the work situation, not according to a certain pattern The tank samples here are just basic samples and not a complete system The tank samples are usually designed to suit each space and each type of organism living in it, so it is not the same, even the filtration system and the filter materials are not the same. If you have any model please share it with everyone or you can comment with me so that I can share your ideas with everyone on your behalf. Me and you and we're all here to make things better if possible Have a nice day. My friend

Hi, my friend.Great glass cutting skill.Look online for Cramer Fugi 7 piece Silicone Kit. Believe me , whatever you will make in the future will be like machine-made.With these small blades you can make the silicone at the internal corners ( outside as well)perfect without the need to use masking tape at all. When you pulling the blade it will remove the excess silicone without leaving anything on the glass. Outside the line on the silicone looks like is not made by hand. And also the aquarium will be much strong because when using these blades you are not removing silicone from the corner but the corner is left filled of silicone. It is hard to explain but once you will start using them you will wonder how you even build aquariums until now.It will change your life.

This hole is to prevent water to siphon to the sump when the electricity goes out. There is a hole at the top of the glass to prevent water siphon to the pump (then to the sump) when the electric goes out.

This is very interesting construction but do you really need all of these pipes to do for such kind of aquarium. There are many aquariums with such big filters with simpler overflow constructions than this. Another problem is quality of such seams. As I understand big aquariums demand thikness of seam at least 1.5-2mm and you cannot do these by such method. I don't recommend any people to buy such aquariums because they leaked after some years.

I think it should be some reasons why all of those pipes need to be installed like that. You want to make a simpler pipe installation then you also have your argument. Every creator know his own creation.

de verdad me gusta tu idea pero no es recomendable que el agua salga por de bajo porque puedes ensunciar el agua con la arena por mucho movimiento y se puede poner turbia el agua, pero todo el procedimiento del filto zoom es super que bueno...

10/10 fun to watch. 0/10 what i understand. I think you should do a narration while the video. 10 seconds explaining at the end of the doesn't do a 20 minutes of video justice. Any way. Nice aquarium.
