Senec (Hungarian: Szenc, historically Szempc, German: Wartberg) is a district town in Slovakia located in the Bratislava Region (West). It is the fourth most visited tourist place in Slovakia. Because of its location and rich cultural and social activities, it is a very common choice for living or holiday recreation not only for Slovaks. Senec is one of the wine-growing towns of the Lesser Carpathian region.
