One known fault However is static build up in the stainless steel machines, as they have metal doors & controls, instead of plastic, the fault has since been resolved.

I couldn't disagree with you more.It's not Bullshit. You Have/Had an old Aqualtis.These new machines are built to a very high standard, probably the most reliable machine Hotpoint have ever produced. The heating element, as you can see from this video, has been replaced by a brand new one, the motor has been replaced by a new one, and the drum & tub have also been improved since the old Aqualtis machines. Meaning they last a long time. It can't be helped that people don't register the Guarantee
