Sex, desire, passion and relationships in general are almost always portrayed as having risky, dangerous aspects in MMM songs. I think that makes them more real and much more interesting than the Hallmark greeting card PG love ditties you usually hear in pop music. Two of the things I loved about the Shutdown MV were that it was set in a sepia toned retro "normal" house and they wore homey, casual clothing. I'm sure the point is that their desire and their relationship are just as normal as anyone's. 6equence is a terrific album. Check out the MVs for the title track Lunatic and the other pre-release single G999, which features the young, up and coming rapper/singer Mirani.

thanks for reacting to Moonbyul, "shut down" is one of the song from her solo album "6sequence" with title track "Lunatic" , all the songs is related/in sequence/a love story concept, it is an album which contain emotion/feeling from 1st meeting someone you love to break up , from "G999" (1st meet) to "shut down" then onwards.

I think you are misinterpreting when you talk about the relation being toxic. Up until the last part Seori is not actually present. Moonbyul is spending the day looking forward to her lover coming over and their spending the night together. So Seori's early appearance are Moonbyul thinking about her. It's just a beautiful saphic love affair. By being poetic she was able to talk quite blatantly about physically making love without the video being banned. In fact there is a clip of Hwasa being envious becaus of how many problem she had getting I'm a B through the censors.

Rakiyah is really good. She hasn't released an mv after this yet but her visuals to promote her eps and singles are crazy. You can watch the mv for I.T.I.D which came out before Like You
