Are there also electric fish that don't have a power off feature? I have been Googling myself but I can't even find relevant search criteria sending me to sites that would contain such information. I was hoping you might know?

For the past circa 5 years all the robotic fish have timers that power them down... ...The Hexbug Smart Fish 2.0 ones will wake up with a 'tap'. So these (if you have lots of them in one large tank, will keep waking each other up. The only other one that I know of (its larger) that does not 'time out' is Bailey. Hello, im an artist and im making an installation with a robotic fish that have to run for 3 months... it shouldnt stop swiming till it run out of battery, than i'd change the battery... the more realistic the best, but he more important is the battery. is there any kind of "premium" robotic fish with a excelent battery? or anyway i can make it run longer? and dont stop? thanks for the help

Wow. What a question! Being honest, you wont find any electronic (small) fish that can run for days yet alone months. You could find ultra thin wire, but shorts and entanglement would be a real issue. I suggest you go about this trickery differently. Buy and balance (with floats / weights) buoyant nuetral or slightly heavier fish. Then in your fish tank buy a mains powered airator that bubbles air and another that (with a nozle) wooshes the water cyclically about to move the fish etc. And, consider magnetic influences. Would u mind explainning me a little more about this other way? i dont think i got it... and do you think theres a kind of professional that i can call to help me? and u said about small fishs... is there any big one that works longer? and u think its easy to connect it to power through a ultra thin cable? sorry for asking so much, but u were the most willing person i found yet...

one more question... is there any robotic fish that swinsuntill it runs out of battery? i could find a way of changing the battery everyday, but if it stops every five minutes it wont work... and what about a rechargeable one?

I doubt you can do better than contact both Zuru and HexBug - those two companies make the most swimming fish and are 'the professionals'. I know of one fish that swims until the battery is flat Say hello to Bailey: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXZoqZiKgcS-iNo.html

ohhh...that's new ! painted HEXBUG fish's The older ones had only unicolor.... that is a big reason to buy one (or two?) :-)

NANO-Nils personally I like the single colour and style of the Aquabots. For me it's the technological upgrades that really make them a better offer now.

How long do the batteries last on each fish?

I get between 4 and 10 hours solid use. The demo and cheaper batteries don’t last long. I get about 10 Depending on make and that they are in date.
