Aprilia RS 457 Real World Test | Acko Drive 500 km Test

The Aprilia RS 457 is the first bike from the Italian brand to be manufactured in our country. Built on an all-new platform, the sportbike is powered by a 457 cc parallel-twin engine and it’s among the most powerful motorcycles in its segment. The Aprilia RS 457 impressed us a lot during our first ride on a test track. But in this review video, the Aprilia RS 457 undergoes the gruelling Acko Drive 500km non-stop test to put the motorcycle through various difficult conditions. Did the Aprilia RS457 manage to impress us? Find out in our road test video.

It was on the media bike when it came for testing, while we were a bit worried but gladly there wasn't any airloss through the rim edge.

So the ergonomics of Aprilia RS 457 can be painful for touring. Ninja 500 is a fantastic sports tourer but that is expensive. Hopefully Tuono 457(if that comes) should have ergonomics that enable sport touring.

Ninja feels cramped but comfy and not as sophisticated. The Aprilia is definitely better in the long run. Tuono is somewhere in the future, hopefully in 2025🤞🏻

Don't go by the look and power it delivers Remember that first batch is always risky and most importantly the after sales service is worst, hold your money have patience let the sales service gets better with time, then go for it.

Suggest you take a test ride cause we don't mind sitting in that sporty stance and ride for 500km on the highway. It does cause some pain in the city though as you can't grip the tank that well

I live in Greece and I am going to be 50 years old in a few days. I know it sounds weird but I am thinking seriously of buying the new RS457. If I use logic I should buy something different because I like traveling with my motorcycle and I know that this one is not the most apropriate. But my heart keeps telling me that the Aprilia is the best for me! I don't know why but it is maybe because I was an owner of a 2-stroke RS125 when I was younger (2007-2010). Inside my mind I am thinking that I could have this bike and make the trips I want with concessions to comfort. Don't you think?

Greetings from India, great to see your passion for motorcycles! The RS125 is a legendary bike and yes, the RS 457 will thrill you with its performance, the riding posture is sporty, but not overly aggressive. I will suggest that you take a proper test ride, before pulling the trigger. Or you can wait for the Tuono 457 which is expected to be launched in 2025.

Anything above 120 and it'll chug the fuel. For this you have to learn the "Hold it like a cone" when it comes to U turns. It's not a commuter as it's too comitted for city use.
