tbh tting would have been a better choice for their title track instead of take my hand. personally take my hand is their most forgetful promotional song and seems more like a bside. the choreography is great and everything but the song itself isn't really memorable and seems like a bland version of april story. though their visuals are amazing as usual, i hope their next comeback will be better and have more impact like mayday!

jinlissul that's what i've been thinking 😔 e.one, the producer for the song, has made too many similar sounding tracks for take my hand to really get april attention... i wish dsp had chosen a different producer or at least e.one could make songs with more variety

Tting kind of music already too much in kpop nowadays.. It is good to reapply what already good like APRIL Story so fans are not lost their direction and keep supporting APRIL.. The chart already good also SBSmtv 3rd and Mnet got 5th

+Probability sbs doesn't have a chart, i'm pretty sure what you're talking about are just polls for fans to vote. i can't remember if it charted on mnet but take my hand's debut on melon was 99 while their peak was 84. meanwhile for mayday, it debuted on melon at 93 and peaked at 69. mayday's peak on soribada and bugs was 31. being "unique" is good but you need to have a good and catchy song, that's why a lot of hook songs are popular. like i really appreciate and love the visuals, dance, formations and concept of this comeback but the song is probably one of their most bland title track. it really had the potential to be their best title track but it was just really lacking compared to the rest.

+Probability it's melon though, do you not support april because melon is korea's most biggest and important music portal/chart - you need to stream april's songs on melon if you want them to be successful. if you're not streaming april's songs then you should not be whining or complaining because you are not helping out april either. sbs mtv is for sbs the show, and their award system basically runs purely by voting, aka fandom power, which april is missing. the show only gives awards to idols that attend their program too. i'm pretty sure the gap between april and the others ahead of them is big. and what do you mean that it's too early to call it bland? it's been nearly two weeks since the song was released. if you need to keep repeating and repeating a song to enjoy it, that's not what you really call a good song because you're basically forcing and conditioning yourself to like it. i've been streaming their song, watched their showcase and all their live performances so far but the song still hasn't grown on me, and if i still don't enjoy the song after a week, i'm pretty sure my opinion will stay the same. i mean i disliked muah when it came out because i found it kinda cringey, but i ended up finding it okay and catchy like a few days later because i kept hearing it in my head. even though take my hand is a better song, i still find it bland because it's not memorable, it doesn't have a hook or an actual key dance point. take my hand was just a recycled and forgetful version of april story.

jinlissul My internet connection is not allowed me to enter melon. Melon website is too hard to enter with my connection. In youtube i can only stream 144p, can download HD but the quota a day is just limited.. Well.. Why i have to force myself to listen it.. I just give the song a chance to grow on me.. It just need two days to conquer me.. You can give a try.. If it is not successful then every person might have different taste of music..
