It’s just as important that you tell us viewers things that went wrong/you don’t like as well as things going great. For instance your non-blue tulips. It’s your honesty that makes you real and why we value your advice. Hope you dry out soon!

Thanks for reminding me of this. I will bear it in mind.
Thank god I mulched my garden beds in late autumn last year because that was one wet spring.

Mulching is always a great thing to have done.
So sorry for the virused tulips 😵💫 The Rododendro Sinogrande is absolutely gorgeous!!! Looking forward to see the obeliscs covered with the sweet peas. And a special hello to Catsky, I always think a cat in a garden makes it even more interesting 😅

Wow, thank you!
Oh dear, didn't know tulips and lilies were related. Got what may have been tulip fire in one of my borders last year so planted lilies in there this year. Will need to monitor carefully. Enjoy watching your videos, looking forward to seeing your garden over the coming months.

The good news is that tulip fire only affects tulips! Thanks for watching and have a good day.
Your garden is looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL Rachel, and your Rhododendron sinogrande 'Logan' is STUNNING, and beautiful Tulips, and Catsky is loving the garden too haha, it really has been the most wettest March and April I have ever known, but your garden is looking as stunning as ever, thanks so much for sharing the wonderful update with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Belfast to Wexford for a fantastic Sunday XXXX

Thank you, Lyn and Hans. I think if this keeps up we may all take up growing rice. Here's hoping for a drier summer - but not a drought please!!! Take care and love to you both.
Everything looks really good!

Thank you for watching and such great comments. Do you mean the Chinese fringetree, Chionanthus retusus? Well, I'm not sure I've ever seen that but it looks fantastic.

@@GardeningatDouentza Hi Rachel it called chionanthus virginicus the difference between them is the shape of the flowers . 🌺🌻🌺

That's very sweet of you to say, thank you. 😊 ❤
Virus in the tulips , it’s so disappointing when this occasionally happens . Love the podophyllum and the garden looks ‘ manicured ‘, as they say . Beautiful . I think the little cat at the front door is hinting she would like to go indoors too .

Thank you for your kind comments and, yes, Catsky was definitely looking to get into the house. it's a pity about the tulips - a terrible shame to dig up pretty tulips in flower !

It has rained and rained and rained here in Wales too! I think I've lost my Kniphofia. Love your garden! I’ve just subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your videos. (PS I have a gardening channel that you might like! 😃)

Hello Rachel, also with a lot of rain your garden is fantastic. Today here in Florence it was 30°🫠 I did't understand so well what you said about the Kniphofia. Is it possible to cut him down completely and when? Thank you...
@GardeningatDouentza

Wow, 30° in Florence. I am jealous. Kniphofia caulescens is evergreen so cutting to the ground is not a good idea. When bits rot, I cut them out.
Rachel..where did you buy your auger.?. I m thinking of getting one. I live in South Dublin. Your garden is beautiful despite all thr rain we ve had.
