I couldn't agree more on Sword Catcher. I had such high hopes! I felt that way about Ninth house too. Maybe I'll try again another day.

I almost picked up Sword Catcher when it first came out but now I'm glad I didn't. I hate when books info dump. I very much need things either told as they come or has all the info in the back for reference. I currently have Fate Inked in Blood borrowed on Libby and have been holding off listening to it because I'm scared I will hate it. I feel like your review of it has made me want to read it for sure now. You made it sound really good. 🧛

A Fate Inked in Blood was so good!!

Empire of the Vampire was fantastic. Recommended to my husband and he smashed through it so fast and he has read book 2 ahead of me. (He is normally a slow reader :p) Cant wait to read book 2. Great video as always ❤

🧛‍♂️ oh no! I’m so sorry Sword Catcher was a let down! I haven’t read it yet and I also own several copies of it because I just adore Cassandra Clare! I still plan on reading it… I just might bump it down on my TBR 🥴 I feel like we have similar reading tastes so maybe if I go into it with lower expectations it won’t be so bad🤷🏻‍♀️ here’s to hoping book 2 is better! I can’t wait to get to Wild Love! I’m reading the Chestnut Spring series right now and so far I’m really enjoying it! 💜

Yes do that! I think if you go in an focus on abdorbing all the world building and knowing that you'll not get a lot of action. I think it will be an ok read. But I really hope book 2 makes it up for us 😩 because It's Cassandra Clare! I want to start reading the Chesnut Springs series too! Wild Love was truly WILD 🤣 And omg i loved every single bit of it!!❤️‍🔥🫠

I already had Empire of The Vampire+Damned🧛‍♂ on my TBR after your vlog, sadly all the book stores seem to be out of stock for the first one in hardback? At least the ones I've been looking at.. *sad* I'll only get it if I can get both in hardback! Is Wild Love a stand alone? Your disappointment in Sword Catcher is kinda funny xD I'm sorry :x Hopefully the 2nd one is better? It's how I'm feeling about Powerless as well...for such a hyped up book there was something about it that left me kinda... disappointed... Sadly didn't get to finish the Raven Boy Series in April like I wanted(Starting on the last one now) BUT IT'S OKAY I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH ;-; Thank you so much for recommending it! 🧛‍♂

@@CoffeeAndTales I sadly don't know any stores that sell 2nd hand books. I'm hoping for a reprint whenever the 3rd book comes out? Idk if that usually happens or not.. *fingers crossed*

yeh ive sword catcher to read but honestly not expecting much.. bc i feel like it will be very similar to her shadowhunter books its terms of plot and characters and romance. and ive read most of her shadowhunter books but im justt so burnt of em and they so repetitive and get boring so fast. i read the last hours trilogy last year i think and i was struggling and so bored and thought about dnfing but pushed thru bc like u i had a few special editions of the last hours trilogy haha so yeh im just pretty done with her books tbh unfornately. idk when ill read sword catcher probably not for a while bc ive so many other books im more interested in reading! yeh i feel like her books tend to be slow ngl so damm sword catcher was slow too and u were bored yehh i feel like thts gonna be me.. damm uve a lot of copies oof :C thats one of the reasons i dont buy special editions anymore (also bc no space and money bc i collect other stuff) but yeh ive the indigo special edition of it and honestly i shouldnt have bought it and just get it from library maybe at some point. i would say dont continue it tbh honestly just try to sell the extra copies of the book to at least get your money back. thats what im tryin to do but its sloww process. it sucks when the special editions are that gorgeous but we end up not likin the book :C
