Applying the BMW M Performance Fuel Filler Cap Carbon Cover - How To

In this video BMW How-To shows you that the BMW M Performance Fuel Filler Cap Cover Carbon is a visual enhancement of your fuel filler cap to bring the M Performance racetrack feeling into your daily life. You can install it by gluing it onto the fuel filler cap of your BMW. Make sure that the bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease. First, remove the protective cover of the adhesive surfaces. The minimum application temperature is 10 degrees Celsius. Then, fit it over the fuel filler cap of your BMW and press it tight. It will be fully cured after 72 hours. Remove the protective film from the M performance logo and apply the safety note sticker.

That will never happen BMW has been downhill for some time. Their new flagship, the XM is such a joke. BMW is not what it used to be.

What a joke, carbon fibre is to save weight, not to add on more. This doesn't replace the original fuel cap. It's just a stuck on cover, bravo BMW another way to sell more unessery tat, to increase those profits. £170 for a sticker on case that will be covered by the filler door. So not even an appearance enhancement piece, save your money people. BMW keep on marketing crap and labeling it as M Performance, won't be too long before you devalue your M division branding👍. BMW now gets its inspiration & innovation from fake parts on Ali Express & Ebay. Keep on ignoring your loyal customers fanbase, you can only go downhill from there. P.S, tip, don't use a diesel estate car to market M Performance parts.

Agreed. It's often times the 2.0 diesel owners shelling out for m performance parts - nowadays everybody is driving around with m stickers everywhere. Way to tarnish the M branding...
