Applying GenAI and Azure Cosmos DB Vector Search to Interactive Analytics & Reporting

We’ll discuss applying Azure OpenAI and Azure Cosmos DB’s MongoDB (vCore) vector search capabilities to deliver interactive, analytic reports. No-code Azure AI RAG will also be shown. Qarbine is a modern reporting suite which interfaces to Azure Cosmos DB natively. Unlike legacy SQL centric tools, Qarbine is NoSQL, JSON, and GenAI savvy. It also provides a Copilot like query assistant to help understand and formulate native queries.

Bio: Bill Reynolds has more than 20 years experience in both building enterprise applications and licensing development tools to enterprises. He has worked with a variety of database technologies ranging from legacy SQL, to NoSQL, graph and vector ones. Qarbine is his 6th reporting engine with two previous ones garnering license buyouts from leading technology vendors. Customers have included most of the Fortune 500 and Wall Street firms. He has also led several development teams including cyber security applications deployed by the US Navy and at DARPA's National Cyber Range.
