Using Glushu glue-on horseshoes for the first time?

Glushu is a great alternative for every situation where nailing on a horseshoe is risky or impossible. Using modern farrier techniques many farriers are now able to help more serious cases in a simple way.

Not bad at all! I use glue-on horseshoes for a couple years now, starting with the Dallmer Cuff in 2005. But on the other hand, removing the outer layer of the hoof wall as you do it, is - in my opinion - a no-go. Why? The outer layer is only 0.1 to 0.2 mil thick an is the only protection against environmental impacts. Cleaning the hoof wall at the contact area of the glue-on shoe is necessary for proper bond of the glue. If you wanna talk about these fact, let my know. Always open to new ideas!
