That's funny - we've never tried their breakfast. We've always tried the Applewood Grill's lunch. The next time you're in the area, you should definitely try their Apple Slushies - We've never found another drink that's similar to it. We hope that you guys had an awesome weekend.

LOVE the Apple Fitters and the Apple Julep here. All the southern comfort food looked awesome. Lots of food for the money. Always can count on good food and good service at the Applewood restaurants. Always love good country music while we are eating. Great food review as always.

You guys go to some really good country restaurants. They all scream comfort food. Ty for the video.

We LOVE Applewood! Such a great restaurant with some cool shops on property too. Although we have only ever stopped there for breakfast. Your meals all looked delicious though. We will have to try dinner there sometime. Thanks for sharing your meal at Applewood Farmhouse restaurant with us!

Fantastic place to dine!! Never had anything there that was anything short of amazing. The julep and fritters are a great start...love both! Everyone's food looked great! Collards and the dressing are always on my plate! Their prices are great too! You can get an excellent meal there for less than a lot of places out there that aren't near as good! Hope ya'll are having a great weekend and God bless!

Applewood never disappoints.The food and service are always amazing. We usually take home several jars of apple butter as well for family members. Glad yall had a good experience.

We are coming up next weekend. We will be staying in Townsend, but will be visiting Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. What are some of your favorite restaurants, or the ones you highly recommend?

That's very exciting, Amelia. We have too many to list but here are some of our favorites: In Wears Valley, we enjoy PawPaw's Catfish and the Shaggy Moose for Coffee. In Pigeon Forge, we enjoy the Applewood Farmhouse, Paula Dean's Family Restaurant (if you arrive right when lunch starts and the food is fresh), and Chubby's (Sevierville). In Gatlinburg - some of the best fried chicken we've ever had is Mama's Chicken Kitchen. Another great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere is Crystelle Creek (we saw 2 bears there the last time we were there). A great sandwich shop in Gatlinburg is Tennessee Jed's. If you're looking for steak, our favorites are 1) Chop House (Sevierville), Alamo Steakhouse (Pigeon Forge Location), and The Park Grill (Gatlinburg). Our favorite pizza in the entire area is West By God in Pigeon Forge. I hope that is helpful and we hope you guys have an amazing trip, Amelia.

Who say’s Everything better with cheese on it’ ?? One of my restaurant pet peeves is soup that’s too dang hot…. Especially a cream soup. Just kills the taste. Henry was in rare form that day. Tough choice between the pot pie, chicken n dumplings or pot roast.

You definitely called it and it's so true - cheese truly does make everything better. Henry was definitely a chatterbox on this day. We've never tried their pot roast but we can only imagine that it's amazing. The Applewood Farmhouse Grill has always been one of our top 5 favorites in Pigeon Forge and the restaurant has practically the same menu. I use to love eating here but about 3 years ago the food was really not the same as all the years we had gone there. Sure was a shame from what you use to get and what they serve us the last time we had gone.
