As right to repair legislature inches closer to big corporations. Apple has decided to play nice (or not...) and allow you all to have access to their proprietary tools and parts. This may seem like a big deal to most us repair techs, but it's not. This is just a ploy to keep Apple at bay. I honestly believe these repairs are not for the average individual. Professionals will still need to assist with these technical repairs.
In my eyes a perfect plan for Apple to play nice would be to STOP serializing all their parts so no notifications are given on the devices. Enough ranting from me. Non of those tools are really needed for cell phone repair shop, the most important tools Apple will not sell it out, like programmer for face ID, battery serial number, home button, lcd and rear camera

Hi, my galaxy note 10 has a black spot, and retracting screen keeps flashing, and has a tiny glass shatter. Should I replace my screen or display?
I was looking for advice on cleaning charge cable contacts with their delicate pins. I'm thinking a bit of alcohol or spray electronics cleaner and then the usual plug and unplug to scrape the pins clean, rinse and repeat may be best, but wondered if there was a better way?
How do you get around the repair cal software
I don’t need these tools but I am a fan of them so I try to see what I can learn from them and adapt to my own practice. I been caring more about the seals so I’ll clap the iPhone after the repair. Also I’ll use the backglass laser molds upside down to mimic the repair mold, it’s unbearable but I like how it feels.
What about a removable back cover and screws behind it to disassemble phones, like we used to do 10 years ago ?

Trash, would add much time to the repair. I can get a screen off an iPhone 12 or higher in a few seconds in perfect condition.
expensive tools to change battery only:) What good is to use proper sticker, because in market some stickers are terrible quality, better to use glue sometimes:)
