Same but unfortunately where I live they are always soldout so I had to settle for the midnight one in 45mm 😢

I love the double tapping and that it can find your phone. Im getting it for these reasons. It can’t detect shite temperature wise or EKG. It’s a total mislead. It is not accurate AT ALL. Great review 🤗

Actually the EKG is legit actually all the health features are legit it detected that I had a very high heart rate I went to the Hospital and yes I found out that I had something wrong

Yes! I actually looked into this. Think of Double Tap more like the gesture of raising your wrist to wake the display or palming your Apple Watch to turn the display off. AssistiveTouch remains dedicated for actually helping users control apps and have a full-featured Apple Watch experience.

@@katekozuch6957 Thanks! I read more too on the Verge review which went in to the difference. It seems that AssistiveTouch is way more battery intensive as it runs on the CPU and you can use more gestures for different functions whereas Double Tap is less flexible but more integrated in the UI.

The hardware makes it more reliable and less battery-hungry, and it's more fully streamlined for day-to-day use by folks who can use their other hand to navigate. It's more comparable to quick actions in terms of functionality, but again the hardware is supposed to make it work better. I can't say I ever noticed a particularly bad battery drain using quick actions, but I do find it so inaccurate on my SE1 that it's never been worth using, it often just becomes distracting.

ahh you compared to a Series 8 using WatchOS 9.... not a good comparison IMO. Should have installed the WatchOS GM for the comparison. For example, dictation is worlds better on WatchOS 10, even on Apple Watch 7. That's also why your app cloud comparison is different. That was changed in WatchOS 10.

Is it worth upgrading from 8 to 9 series?

Why is she checking display brightness while wearing sunglasses? And turning on 'reduce motion' in the accessibility settings will dramatically speed up the animations, regardless of which series you have. Also you can really help the environment by keeping the watch you have, without buying a new one.

Great video, thank you. My series 9 is on order. I like you am so delighted about the new watches being carbon neutral!! However if apple really are sincere about being kind to our poor beleaguered planet, then they would make all devices with a view to greater longevity, and support them for life.

The double tap has been on every Apple Watch for years. Apple legitimately forgot it was already a feature

The sleep app is a joke, no matter how I set it tells me I’m in bed for 10 1/2 hours every night even though I’m lucky to get six
