So I’m gonna buy the 12 Pro Max in gold when it comes out and I had planned on getting a series 5 in stainless steel gold since it’s a little cheaper, but I guess I gotta get the series 6 in stainless steel gold now since the color are totally different.

Thanks for the comparison...got my gold ss series 6 today and I am so happy with it. I’m so glad that copper gold was finally changed, this new gold is definitely more yellow gold and goes really well with my gold wedding ring set and gold Pandora bracelets. This was very helpful in helping me decide to upgrade thanks.

Yeah this is a bit flashier than the S5. Personally I like it, but if you want to be more stealthy, you might need to choose a different color. Glad you liked the video! 🤩

@@joyyerz I have the gold stainless steel series 6 as well, and I haven’t had any problems with scratching. I’ve had it for almost a year, and I work in a retail job where I’m always smacking it on metal shelves and other things. I’m brave and don’t have a screen protector or case lmao.

You have no fucking idea that since it has DLC coating, that is the most scratch resistant apple watch like the black ss.

your ring looks like its a 14 or 21ct gold, if it was 21, itd be soft and easier to bend. loved watching this comparison

In another vlog, the series 6 gold is so much yellow gold and the series 5 looks copper gold.. Maybe because of the lighting of the room. On this one, hard to see the difference. Eps when outside in daylight or very lit white room. His back is so blue and black that's why the reflections are bad. It mixes with reflective gold of apple watch. You can only see how yellow gold it is where the straps are attached

I like this but at the same time it looks a little _too_ flashy lol. Idk what to get lol

As far as I know, it’s the same.

You should have done this comparison outside in daylight and or in a lit room with no black and blue light background at your back that mixes with reflective gold finish of apple watch. Did you already upgrade to iOS 14? Maybe that's why it's not there

I have been searching far and wide for ANYONE that did a side by side comparison of the new Series 6 Gold Finish Vs the Series 5 Gold Finish!!! Literally NO-ONE HAD DONE THIS VIDEO!!! this is exactly what I was looking for!!! You would think that this would be one of the very first videos people put out there but literally the only person that even mentioned it in passing was a German KZreadr that you had to slow down to 0.25 speed and pause at juuuuust the right moment to get a good look for longer than 2 seconds. TBH we only got that because he happened to be wearing his old watch while reviewing the entire new line(in German). -___-

It depends on the carrier, but it’s usually about $10/mo. You can choose to use it without a cellular plan if your carrier doesn’t support it or you don’t need it. Then it’ll work like the non-cellular version.

can you will both series 5 and 6 on the road,restaurant , or some normal life situation. With different light, we can see and compare the color more precisely

Tbh series 4, 5 & 6 are pretty close. Just very minor changes. The only reason I upgraded was for the new gold color. Other than that, probably not worth it, unless you want the always on display and blood oxygen sensor.

The Series 6 is a good watch, but with the Series 7 being so close I would wait. Unless you get a really good deal on the Series 6. Hopefully the Series 7 is still gold gold. 🤞🏽

The Series 6 is replacing the Series 5. The watches are too similar to sell together. Nobody would buy the Series 6 if the Series 5 (which is nearly identical) was $100 less. The Series 3 is still around because it’s a bigger difference. They did the same with the Series 4 last year.

The series 5 Milanese loop is supposed to have the thicker magnet too, making it not come out of the latch. At least that was the case when I tried on a S5 a few months ago in an Apple Store. Was your Milanese loop actually bought in set with the S5, or did you keep it from an earlier model, or buy it somewhere else than Apple?

It’s the one that came with the Series 5. I Googled it when I noticed and a lot of other people had the issue too and it appeared to be the norm. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It seems very different because you are using a type of artificial lighting in your studio that doesn't allow to see the real colour of things then the camera.
