I usually freeze the butter cubes and put them along with flour mixture in mixer jar and pulse it, till the butter pieces break to small size and make a rough dough by adding ice cold water with a spatula. With out using hand. So the butter pieces don't melt and be there in small bits all over the dough. That gives a good crunchy texture. Do try this way ma'am.

I make them fast and easy. Buy the pie crust. Buy the Can fillings. With in seconds, ready to bake! No big mess and fast and easy. Sure, from scratch is the best way, 👌and using fresh fruits👌 but it MESSY, TAKE WAY LONGER

You can bake them or fry them either one. But i like the bake ones better. Cause there not oily tasting and a chance of a blow out in the oil. So bake em. You can make them any way you please, I like the Clam Shells style. You can make the McDonalds Style to. Can make Cigar style as well, Or Round, Square what ever you want. even STARS You can buy all sorts of dough cutters, pie crimps as well 👉👉 but the best way is using your hands. This is the way i make them. Folding round circles, into Clam Shells. Using my fingers crimping them closed with egg wash. Brush them with egg wash sprinkle sugar over them and bake. Or once cooled down. you can make a white icing to dribble over them Either way there great
