An M4 Extreme chip that’s exclusively available for the Mac Pro only makes a lot of sense. With the current Mac Studio option, the Mac Pro just makes zero sense whatsoever. A new, even more powerful chip would finally justify the extra price

Stil waiting for the “serious” version of the iMac. At least 27” and with some performant chip inside (possibly Max and Ultra)

The iMac Pro was very much a thing not that long ago, but it was poorly received and got cut from the lineup fairly quick.

@@cgraham6 that's because the "standard" 27" iMac was a thing too. Now we have only that toys iMac 24", no more prosumer iMacs but only entry level stuff. So Apple cutted short a lot of customers relying on their products. I'm a graphic designer and I used to use iMacs all my carreer long (25 years) and I'm sticking with my Intel 27" machine waiting for Apple to remember about us

the current version is overpriced and they break really easily from moisture if you don't protect them properly. Also they have tons of flaws that I am waiting for apple to fix. Just wait for the new ones, see that they are $550, and then get like a Sony XM5 or Bose QC ultra or something instead. Unless apple really knocks it out of the park with the next one

I’m still with my M1 Max 64GB 8TB, and I will still keep it for at least 2 to 3 more years… but I can’t wait to upgrade for the M6 or M7 Max (or even Ultra if they do a MacBook Pro by then)… at least 256GB RAM and 32TB SSD would be perfect for my need. But of course, I’m part of the 1% that does high-end music and video editing (can’t wait to edit 12k an 17k footage… at some point, dream will become reality and we will get a MacBook powerful enough to be super smooth while editing multiple feed in 12k and even 17k with Optical Flow, Noise Reduction and SuperScale… because those 3 things really hit super hard on ressources)

I hope Hidra takes AI to the next level, 1TB of memory sounds crazy good. If when working with Nvidia with the Apple Vision, I hope they work together on hooking up external GPU's so we could attach multiple GPU's to do some serious AI training. Some businesses who buy Mac Studio or Pro's might need the Nvidia solution now that AI workflows are becoming so important in business. Apple was a leader for business doing art or animation, music, video etc... Now with AI those players will be doing AI generating and need to train on their content, to do so will require something better, even music production will be training on its own music. Partnering with Nvidia would be bold and smart move unless they come up with something to match the power of an A100 or greater.

Buying the Mac Studio was the worst purchase I ever made in my life. I kept getting beach balls for simple tasks. Never buying an Apple product again. Phones suck and can't even do multitasking and their software in general is just laggy and bare bones.

Apple's late 2024 Event will be HUGE! Not really huge if there is no fix to the M1, 2 and 3 M-series chips vulnerability? For most Apple customers and should be of concern to Apple new customers, is the M1, 2 and 3 M-series chips vulnerability fix. When is that event happening?

Nice new camera angle takes but too much body language, try to move less hands since it can distract viewers and lose their attention

Yeah, well, it would be the biggest in terms of computers and performances for computers and laptops and iPads, etc. But let's not forget that always the biggest, the main event, it's always the iPhone. But I don't really care about these chips if they're going to be in a laptop. I mean, I barely use a laptop. I use it for Word, Excel, play some games. I use my PS5 for playing games. Draw some things, send emails, watch a movie, airplay a movie. But if I'm not a studio maker, a filmmaker, a photographer or videographer, I really don't care. So, the biggest event? There’s only the optional subscription and nothing else. You can use WallpaperZ for free if you want. The subscription is there to pay our designers, help fund the development of our app, and add new features. And of course, you unlock all wallpapers in a pack with it and support our work :)

Nope, M4 late 2024 or even 1st quarter 2025. Seems the new Operating Systems out in October will work with the new M4 hardware to bring the best AI experience.
