My dog just chewed up my I pencil from Apple and I was about to just throw it away when I realized I’ve fixed stuff and I need to give it a chance so I put it on my tablet and it charges. It just needs a new tip and an outside sheath which is exactly what this video is doing. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this video up. I hope that other people in a similar situation like myself will find your video and save themselves the burden of buying an entire new unit when there are options out there to fix it.

The same happened with me too. My dog chewed up my first generation apple pen and I have extra tips for it but the outside has some cracks in it. So how do I replace the shell of the pencil

@@Tyreek215ful I asked a bunch of people and I went of Reddit they all told me it’s fine. I’d just go on Amazon and buy a sleeve. One that’s thin enough to still charge!

Alright the back end of my apple pencil just got chewed up by my dog so the very end where that white cap with the copper end is broken off. My pencil is still charging and seems to still write fine, but I'm wondering if this will still affect some functions of my apple pencil. does anyone know what that back end of the apple pencil 2 actually does?

Was I the only one secretly hoping he would puncture the battery and sniff on that lovely toxic smoke? He could also have wiped the glue with alcohol and save on hours of scraping.

Is it safe to say that an apple pencil 2 can charge, not write, and the problem be the outter shell and not the guts of the pencil?
