I still use this iPod today; It's fantastic, even though it's 4 years old. It doesn't feel obsolete at all, never fails. So great. Steve Jobs, you're the greatest. We will never forget your legacy.

I still use these iPods: the pinnacle of the nano for me. Battery life is immense and they're so small you can easily take your phone as well in the same pocket. Wolfson DAC too.

I'll never forget my first trip to America, landing at JFK airport in '07 and listening to jay-Z's 99 problems on this legendary iPod while waiting for the cabin doors to open.

This was the greatest iPod of all time. I cannot begin to tell you just how much I loved this thing. It became an extension of my body haha. So many great memories listening to music and watching videos on the iPod Nano 3G. I wish I still had it.

Oh man. This brings back memories. This iPod was my first ever iPod. I had an hour long bus ride and this really kept me entertained. I loaded it up with movies, and even that G4 Podcast intro he played brings me back, I remember putting a few of those on my iPod also. I still have it and it works, i just cant find it lol

When Sudoku was a good feature on an iPod...but the enthusiasm from the crowd... it's better than it's ever been at a keynote!

I just bought one of these at a pawn shop and it works wonders still. The battery still lasts a long time and its great. I bought one today because I remember getting this same iPod for my birthday way back in the day. It was silver and I was happy to find the exact same silver iPod Nano in the pawn shot today. I sadly broke my iPod Nano 3rd gen a long time ago, but I was happy to find another one just today. And to be honest after using it for a while I still think this model of the iPod is MORE then usable even today. The screen is small, but good. The build quality is outstanding and very tough, and the headphone output still sounds great and it gets very loud. The storage is small yes, but still good enough for what i use it for. I bought a 3rd gen iPod Nano out of nostalgia because I missed having one. Oh, and LONG LIVE COVER FLOW 🙌👌

this was my first ipod. so much nostalgia. had it for 4 years until i got the Touch, and then i never used my Touch after i got the iPhone 4.

Probably my favorite Nano they ever released. I even remember when they announced this, they launched them in Apple Stores the same day. I remember getting one right after work that day.

I used to hate ipods, but when I saw this version of the nano I knew I had to have it. It's such an awesome video player, I download documentaries off youtube and google video, and watch them on my black 8gb nano with sennheiser px100 headphones. I love it! XD

i remember when i got my 3g nano last year, 2 days after it came out for my birthday.. i was freaking out because it was so cool but now everyone has one :/.. oh well getting the iphone soon.

Videos for the iPod have to be in .H264, you can just convert them for your ipod by right-clicking and then on "convert for ipod"

Apple needs to re-release the iPod. And bring back these simple presentations- just people sharing amazing devices. No slick marketing or fancy videos.

I love my nano 3G. I used it all the time till I got my classic, and the only reason I got one was because I filled my nano up to the brim. But I love the nano 3G. I think it was the best nano design yet.

HAHA i was in hysterics at the I'm a PC reference. i havent seen this before. This was my second iPod (1st being the Nano 2ndG) thats what got me into apple like so many other people. Steve really knew what he was doing with the original iPod.
