Apple Log with Beautiful Grain - Woodturning

Welcome to today's woodturning project! This time I made a simple bowl out of apple log, which had a beautiful grain. I finished the project with Danish oil.

It's intriguing to watchh the lathe go from jumping around to running smoothly as the project becomes balance.

I have no artistic ability, I just think it would be fun to play on a lathe for a few hours.
How long did it take you to learn this skill How long have you been doing this skill

Like almost all woodturners, he must have needed many broken bowls and workpieces to be as good as he is now.
