To close the app just swipe up to the middle then force touch it and a minus sign will show up and you can now swipe up to close the app.

Thanks for explaining the blinking light. I saw it in another video. I thought Apple finally added a blinking notification light. Thanks for letting us know it’s just the camera picking up what appears to be unseen by the naked eye.

Ya when the had the iPhone X that came out 5 years ago.some people did not like the notch and didn’t understand Face ID now with the iPhone 14 pro max out everybody knows how to use it and all the several phone that have succeeded from then.thank Tim for doing this unboxing the iPhone X is my favorite phone from apple because it comes in outstanding colors nice doul camera system and the notch looks very nice to look at and now no Touch ID i know this is a long message but have a good day

To close apps, you press and hold until a red close button appears on all apps. At this stage you can press the red close button on whichever app or swipe up to close them.

Hi Tim, Great video. I know some people are always wanting a case on their phones no matter what the phone happens to be but I just took my case off my phone a few days ago and i kept going back and forth on which to do because i couldn't just choose ONE case and i honestly have over 30 cases for my iphone x.....ridiculous i know!!!! But i have a glass screen protector on the front, a glass protector on the back and a camera glass protector so i'm all set and pretty well protected so decided to just put a pop socket on the back of my iphone x and go case-less it's awesome!!!

Tim, I'm still hoping & keeping my fingers crossed that you'll help me out with the hook-up of that Samsung Galaxy Note8!

don't know, but it probably just shows control center is there.

The swipe up to close apps doesn't work anymore now you have to click those red icons at the top left of each app

M Morales it does work and you don’t have to use the red icons . First force touch (3D touch any app in the app switcher , you will now notice the red icons , once you see the red icons you can use them OR you can Swipe up to close an app.

Really happy that you are not jumping the gun and doing the review of the phone straight away a lot of channel kinda tries to do that. But the phone loos good but just wish that you got the space grey one, is it just me or does anyone else feel like the silver one is a bit too shinny and that frame kinda looks like that cheap plastic chrome coating or something like that? i make tech contents in my channel, please give them a try if you could share some time. i would appreciate it.

Hold on the app for a couple of seconds, and you can close any apps you want with the minus in the corner, just in case you hadn't figured it out!

I got the 8 instead. It’s the same processor and speed. Just a slightly smaller screen and I actually get a button. I tried out the x and the biggest thing I hated was swiping from the bottom and the face id. It was awful.

bare in mind the 8plus has a wider screen then the iphone 10 screen because the 10 does not come in a plus version so iphone 8 plus is way bigger then the 10 i perfer the 8 plus not much difference between both fones

When the screen turns on and you get to the desktop, just meh always that old looking software. Phone looks nice though. But I feel the price is really too expensive. Besides the face ID which I find creepy, what does it have over other phones to justify that price?

Why not show off that unlike other phones you only get one audio track when you record video.

Once upon a time you used to do rooting videos and unlocking bootloader videos and custom ROM videos..... You were an XDA contributor.... But that was a lifetime ago. Qbking77 you should do a separate enthusiast Channel. I know we all have to have one foot in the corporate world.
