Power supply to the connector is limited hence no fast charging by default, so the hubs which have an option to add power works perfectly, no issue.

I think apple products are compatible with SSD ONLY.

Use upto 500gb ssd or give external power to HDD, bcoz apple has limited power distribution to hdd from ipad
