Just aside note, blueSCSI won’t work on this machine as it doesn’t use SCSI. Fortunately there are IDE alternatives that will work 🙂

Oops. Thanks! I don’t think it would’ve gone to waste either way, if I were to purchase one. Just would’ve found out after disassembly!
The speaker output was unfortunately proprietary and the internal sound was nearly as good. However, audio out to good quality powered speakers can give excellent results because the audio DAC chip OUT was superb at the design stage by Sir Jonathan Ive and when Apple lost interest in audio excellence along with other manufacturers Ive worked with HK and others as a side project. He likes music and was brought up among Welsh choral societies.
