Heads up: I found when I imported the contacts to the older version they wasn't visible but once I changed to the new google contacts I could see them so thank you :)

i have done this many times but some contacts have not been removed while importing to google.

Thanks for the video. My question is how to get the images to sync as well? The contact info sync successfully; however, none of the images from Apple iCloud were sync to google contact. Would appreciate it if you or anyone here knows the answer to this. Thank you.

Hi Cheech. I think maybe this video might be helpful if I understand it shows how to sync the native ios contacts app with a Google Account. The only difference might be that instead of exchange in the video I created for Gmail use the option "Google" when adding your Google as mentioned kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6120ZeRY9zKk6w.htmlm06s this might do the image sync. i slected 215 contacts and made it a file as u said and when I import it .. it says 15 contact imported out of 215 and rest of it ain't getting added pls help me .... i am doing it in 15-august-2021 soo maybe that's why I cant get the *older version of google contacts on my desktop* pls help me if u know the solution

The time I created the video you needed to use old version to handle the import; today there is import and it works. (I hope)

I know I will have a lot of duplicates once i merge in mac into gmail address book - can i do anything before hand

Gmail has an excellent find and merge duplicates once uploaded give it a try!
