@@shionokada7981 it is really common sense . Why would they use toxic pest control if they are also using Insect as a way for Farm management (Bees as example)

@@rjboltevar2641 You even watch the video? 2:42 she said to limit the use of pesticide. and when he points out the insect pheromone he said another type of insect control. Also farmers borrow bees hives for the pollinating season. so what common sense do you have?.

I agree
I have a great respect for the hard working individuals that reap the harvest. The pickers are some of the hardest working people in the world. They work in hot, cold, and rainy conditions for hours out in the weather just to make sure that the fruit we get is at it's best and they help deliver these fruits with low prices. These people work at low wages and help the entire world eat healthy thanks to that. I have a ton of respect for these workers.

And 90% of apple seeds result in AWFUL apples (bitter, intensely sour, stringy, etc.). That doesn't matter if you're turning it into hard cider. Puts a new spin on Johnny Appleseed huh?

7500 varieties, and now add one more. Our local store started selling a variety called a 'Sugar Bee Apple'. Great balance of tart and sweet, and with a satisfying crunch when you bite into it.
Very good videos!

GROWING Apples from Seed for domestic consumption should be encouraged to increase genetic diversity + seedlings from seed are stronger and live longer = apple industry and others are intent on maintaining a certain myth that apples from seed are non-performers, 200 years ago USA had 12,000 varieties of apple. GROW 10 apple trees and plant them together = YOU will GET APPLES + low sugar Granny Smith are easy to strike.
First time heard about this recipe. Can you tell what temperature and cooking time should be? Thank you.

The host or perhaps hostess is very charismatic and makes these videos very enjoyable. I find myself smiling which isn't something I'm prone to do while KZread surfing. 😁
I just planted an apple tree, I live in a tropical country. Do I need to plant two trees? So it polinates? Here it's so hot year long so I'm just giving it a try.

Nice information about apple🍎
I saw the orchard shown didn't have the weeds killed below the trees. Meaning no dangerous chemicals used in weed control. Good for them. An orchard managed since the early 1700s is something else.
Huh, mind blown in the first 30 seconds.

An impressive video, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little evaluation on this. And he in truth purchased me breakfast as a result of I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! However yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love studying more on this topic. If potential, as you turn out to be expertise, would you thoughts updating your video with extra particulars? Its extremely useful for me. Big thumb up for this youtube channel submit!
I really enjoy your videos and this one is no exception. An idea for another video might be, how does the apple, or whatever the item might be get to your grocery store. I’m wondering about this since you ended this video saying there are 75,000 varieties of apples to try. If I did try to eat as many apple varieties that I could find locally I doubt that I would be able to find more than 20 in a year. How would I even be able to try other varieties?
I really find ur videos so natural and interesting

Yea... At first, I thought those were going to be a Braeburn and a Mcintosh apple at first but when, I asked my Uncle then, he saids that, apples won't come true from seed of the same variety.... And also, Cherries, and some Magnolias won't come true from seed either. Unless its a hybrid then, it won't come true from seed...
This series is just wonderful. Cannot wait any longer for another episode, and the time is near since you seem to release them every two months... Am I right?
Besides the food, I learn English from you 😊

Does appel grow in tropical gardens. ...and how many tree you need....for fertilizer
Reliance on grafting or hybridization explain why foods grown in the US are so nutritionally poor. Grafting subdues plant variety. Nature didn't mean to plants to grow this way. And it explains why orchards in the US are so heavily reliant on pesticides and chemicals to keep crops from falling prey to insects and disease.

Does cross pollination involve mixing the pollen from two different flowers as you said or taking pollen from one flower and delivering it to another?
4:21 Yes, the apple skin contains many of the nutrients, but the inside contains a lot of water. This is helps for hydration 👍
How does it harvest is the best best caption for your videos😁
They have gotten apples to grow now in the hot lowland tropics & got them to go into a state of dormacy at the beginning of the dry season & produce up to 3 crops a year. Apple trees in the tropics can be either very shrub like or huge & tall as compared in temperate areas. Also apples now grow in the subartic boreal forest regions like Alaska, Canada, Siberia e.c.t. & they get smaller & smaller the further north & are even berry sized in the northern most areas.
