He's still an idealist and a genius technologist. Note how he stresses the importance of making products that do good, that help people. He refrains from business and from personal remarks against others. Steve Wozniak is a class act. We need more people like him. Apple is missing out by not having him back. Maybe he can do better on his own though.

Artificial Intelligence is a threat because people are a threat; regardless of his accomplishments he knows nothing of politics or war; we fight each other we kill each other it will never end, if you create a tool you can do more things than the hands or feet; the tool itself will never attack it isn’t programmed to do that. It’s nice to live in a world where we think that people would never create a virus that damages cell phones or computers but we do; we have evidence of this every time we click on the wrong website or a “software malfunction.” Computers will become self-aware because we will program them to become self-aware and if A.I. has the potential to surpass the human brain as is theorized to happen around 2050 then it probably is going to be a threat way before that because it will see all human/mutant kind as a threat regardless of what side of the fence we are on; it’s also important to note that a computer brain has the potential to become a remorseless killing machine that’s not too uncommon with psychopaths but purely on a logical side which is very alarming.

He's not interested in this and, in the end, does not even really answer some of the questions. Steve Wozniak is a programmer, not a CEO. @@gregsmith1960 Thank you for your thoughtful share, I hadn't identified the crypto currency as you did - "bitcoin is not anti bank in any way... they own and manipulate it... and if bitcoin did take off huge than the economy would be put under extra stress and possibly even tank cause robots and ai taking jobs and than that would probably cause bitcoin to tank as well and than everyone with bitcoin will wake up to the worlds biggest ponzi scheme.... create your own coin and its a ponzi if you hustle it to just a few people but bitcoin is big so its not a ponzi is that the theory? doesnt make sense to me... how is it not a ponzi because there is 0 value besides the technology which is easily duplicated /replicated.. any big company would just use the technology not bitcoin itself..." Your point has gotten me to consider new ideas, for instance; the currency is digitally replicable, the only value to any crypto currency is the mass adoption of it much like current existing physical currencies such as the $, £ and others alike, they have no intrinsic value - any attempt to use existing currency to back them up is insufficient and disastrous especially in the case of the value appreciating to the point where physical currencies such as paper and coin which has to be printed and minted to support the appreciated crypto currency value thus diminishing the purchasing value of the previous existing physical currency such as £,$ and others alike - a way to circumvent this would be to entirely transition into digital currency where no physical currency like £,$ and others alike are acting as the base currency which of course would reveal that crypto currencies has no intrinsic value. Should I be wrong with my ideas please feel free to post your argument for disagreement with my ideas. "everyone with bitcoin will wake up to the worlds biggest ponzi scheme.... create your own coin and its a ponzi if you hustle it to just a few people but bitcoin is big so its not a ponzi is that the theory?" The above quote addresses the argument that if we were to print our own currency, on behalf of the federal reserve the government will declare it has a counterfeit however if the federal reserve were to print and mint currency it is declared a legitimate form of currency. In a digital environment that is unregulated and permits for absolute freedom is it acceptable for an entity to attempt in regulating the digital environment in the sense of declaring which digital currency is to be considered a legitimate form of currency? My thoughts on that would be that some entity is attempting to do so, then again it won't be that difficult to replicate the offline infrastructure of currency into a digital form.

The shareholders are always in charge. A company owned by venture capitalists is under constraints just like a public company is - its just that the constraints are different. Venture capitalists may not be all that much wiser than public shareholders (they are only interested in very high growth businesses after all).

Wow. Just read about that.. 7 BTCs @7 grand a piece a year ago... Stolen via an online scam where other party "paid by credit card and then cancelled the payment." So he wasn't exact;y "hacked" per se - truly just bad luck there... I bet he still probably made a hefty profit off of it overall. Plus that was a year ago... Awareness has grown. Some. :)

@@taylorj6177 They cancelled but that loss of money does not go to the exchanges. The CC do a "charge back"" so they can write all that off and does not factor in with their profits. IE I order 1 BTC receive it then cancel I am the one who will be charged.
