Lol man that Zoom part had me rolling 🤣. You said "I don't know what camera it's going to use".

I turned off the EQ and it worked. I was going crazy trying different cords, resetting the infotainment system. Thanks !

Having the same issue with my 13 pro max. No music plays but I can use maps kind of. It crashes too. But not as bad. Google maps won’t play at all. I can play through blue tooth but not wireless apple play.

I'm on iOS 15.2 with iPhone 13 Pro Max and I have several bugs with Waze app, this app can't navigate over the route and seems to be freeze. It's frustrating

Turn off EQ for that issue… and also turn off sound check if you are having an issue with the audio not being loud enough compared to FM mode or Sirius XM…

I had the same problem apple came out with a new update for that problem

So what the pinned comment said fixed the problem and if you had it off already just turn it on play some music through the phone then turn it off and it should work it worked for me

Apple Music crashes on my 12 pro as well....Honda Ridgeline RTL 2020. Spotify works fine through carplay. Bluetooth to Apple music works fine, but as soon as I hard wire to carplay and press the Apple music button, it crashes.

Same damn issue with my 13 pro max, expect I thought it was a wired issued because my car isn’t wireless CarPlay. grandmother upgraded to the same phone and hers works fine, my grandfather got a 13 and his works perfect….

So I’ve been using my 11 Pro max for apple CarPlay ☠️

Mine did the same thing but they just fixed it with the 15.02 update

I use a usb and it crashes when my battery is full

I'm having the same issue, mines doesn't crash that bad but it tries to play music then it pauses it right away. I can't find anything online that will help me fix this. I'm not sure if is a bad dongle that i have.

This usually happens if you have the audio wire connect to your phone also with Bluetooth being connected from phone to car it gives off a mixed signal of which it should play. To fix it you just need to unplug from whatever aux. if you wanted to use the cable instead you unplug n close the music application then plug it in but you need to unplug first before closing other wise it won’t work if you close the app first n then unplug

Same issue. I’ve taken every step possible to fix this and nothing. IPhone 12 Pro still works though. Very frustrating especially since you can’t replace it they are so back ordered

Turn off the EQ in settings > music. That will fix it for the time being until they issue an update

If you “reset all settings” (not erase) on the 13, it’ll start working

done restore and even wiped the full phone (non restore)

Bruh I had the same problem and I literally went to music on the iPhone just like they said and turned off the EQ and everything works again ty guys . The phone I was using was a iPhone 13pro max

Apple has finally gotten to big Even for themselves

My 13Pro Max works fine but my wife’s 13 Pro Max is doing the same thing as yours.

Hope it's a fluke. But beta testers test the patches. It's funny that similar problems on different platforms happen all too often. You can probably get the last update from your phone but probably not the navigation system. Don't want to go down the conspiracy Road. Updates happen way too often and if you notice you're uploading more info than you're downloading. Good luck hopefully it's a fluke

This is why it’s good to not buy any phone as soon as it comes out if you can. It’s best to wait 1-3 months to read reviews first. I have the iPhone XR with 64 GB and wanted to buy the pro with a terabyte of storage just to have more storage for music with Apple Music. If I would have spent $1,500 on a new phone for the sole purpose of playing music in my car and this happened I would have been PISSED!

My aux cord never crashes lol 😆
