App Subscriptions: Don't Sleep on RevenueCat | Startup Vlog #19
Ғылым және технология
I ripped out all my StoreKit 2 auto-renewable subscription code and replaced it with RevenueCat's SDK. RevenueCat is a service that takes all the painful app subscription code off your plate so you can focus elsewhere. This will improve Creator View overall from both a developer's perspective as well as sales and marketing. It's a huge win all around.

yes, i also think so. From thumbnail i thought it's a critic video, but it's ad
It's such a useful tool. I reached for it when I was first starting to implement IAPs so I didn't have to deal with server things. Super glad I did as I move this app over to subscriptions since they have all the user records now.
Would love to see a tutorial on implementing it in a SwiftUI project 😇

My friend Miguel started Revenue Cat. I loved how easy is to implement in my project! It is a no brainer

It really is!
I hear their CEO is super cool too and make iOS jokes on twitter sometimes.
"These are big numbers, by the way, dummy data." Love that phrase... lol

@@seanallen That's the goal, brother.
I'm definitely going to check this out for porting my Apple Watch game to iPhone.
Can you capture customer info for marketing purposes with revenuecat? Any rejection from apple if we don’t use their in app purchase? Thanks
First time I hear about it!
Interesting 🤔 I will try

It's good stuff.
I'm using it in my "Geometry Solver" app and overall it's working great. But some users are reporting strange issue: they buy the app on one device and when they try to restore purchases on another device using the same account they've purchased it with it just ends with an error. I've set the Revenue Cat to always activate purchases for the same user on different device and for my devices everything just works, so I'm unable to reproduce and fix this issue. Has anybody experienced something similar?

Hey Rudo! I work at RevenueCat and I'd like to help you with this. There definitely should not be any issues with restoring purchases across devices so please feel free to reach out to support about this. Mentioned my name when the support request and I can hop in and help.

Hi @@joshholtz3720 . That's very kind of you, thank you. I've noticed a "SwiftUI subscriptions tutorial" video on RevenueCat channel, which I plan to check out before reaching out to support. My app uses SwiftUI, so maybe I've missed something during the implementation. The puzzling part for me is why it's working fine for some users and not at all for others...

I jumped on that immediately. I wish I'd known about it sooner. Thanks, Sean.
You got paid that why you changed to RevenueCat I mean your video is just an ad sadly
