When setting up the midi input in mixing station are you using int or ext for the input and output? Or int for input and ext for output? Can’t figure it out. Thanks

Great setup. So is the compatibility of the X Touch Extenders made possible by the Mixing Station app or are these also compatible with the built in Soundcraft software? Also are the Extenders plug and play with Mixing Station or do you need to map everything manually?

There is a custom preset for the Xtouch and the Xtouch extender within mixing station which you can then customise to your taste afterwards.

I'm betting he's using two instances of Osimidi.

Could somebody explain me detailed how does it work? I guess, it should work somehow like this: 1) The DAW controller is connected to the 1st tablet using USB, and control the Mixing station app. The 2nd tablet is using for window extension. 2) The UI24 is controlled by the Mixing station app over Wifi or wired connection using TCP/IP protocol. If this is working so, how can be controlled the Mixing station app by the DAW controller? How can be addressed the faders and the rotaries of the DAW controller to the functions of the App, or to the mixer? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking about to build the same system for my Allen & Heath QUpac. I would really appreciate it if someone could help. Should it work with iOS or MAC?

Wow! What a super good setup! It would nice if you would make an english version ^^ I didnt know you could have 2 tablets running like this with 2 midi controllers. Whats the footprint of your setup like this? How much did it cost for the whole (Xtouch, case, stands, tablets etc)?

He uses Surface Go tablets, which cost about 200 bucks each.

Hey , Nice setup ! I try same type of set up, how did you wire the xtouch to the tablet and/or the ui24 ? Today I can only use this set up with the “ui midi” app, witch is not complete…

Moc pěkné - chtěl bych se zeptat, jestli mi to půjde i na UI16 a jestli na to stačí jejich webová aplikace nebo musím použít Mixing Station.

How did you remap the top keys to do the switching between sets?

in mixing station you can change them in the midi setup. all you would have to do is select the find controller feature, click the button knob you want to change and then change it to what you want.

Hello, I have the problem that although I can control everything with the laptop and mobile phone and it also displays the console. I can't do anything on the desk, though. The motofader always jump back into position and it is also not displayed any other change in UI. Do I need the purchase version? Thank you schonmal unf many greetings from Germany.

I bought the application and I have two touch extender how to configure them in cascade because it just makes me a duplication thank you

I don’t know if you found this yet, being that I’m responding a year later, but in mixing station, when you set up the second x-touch extender, offset the channels by 8 (it’s in the box that comes up when you click on the controller name). That will make them channel 9-16. The first one will have an offset of 0, which will make it control channel 1-8

HOw did you hook up the extenders to the mixers and with each other? USB? Cat cable?

Do you connect the two X-Touch devices via USB or network? I'm currently thinking about copying this, that's why I have so many questions. Your video is already helpful here.
