Galatians 2:11. But when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed. Apostle Paul corrected Apostle Peter despite Peter being one of the pillars and fathers of the early church. The older Pastors being pillars and fathers of our present church, are not infallible ! However, we may correct them in humility, where need be, from a biblical point of view and they should stand to be corrected. We do not challenge, insult, attack, confront, and disrespect them. It is wrong and sinful to do so. God may use the lowly to correct the mighty. A donkey was used to correct Balaam (2Peter2:15-16).

Hello Sir, Praise the Lord. Concerning your post on correcting fathers, the comparison you made is not right. Apostle Paul and Apostle Peter were colleagues at the same level. This is allowed since those at the same level have similar experiences. Our generation is trying to correct men they are supposed to be learning from. God bless you.

You are incorrect . They were not colleagues. Apostle Paul was never a disciple when Jesus had His earthly ministry. Apostle Peter was. Apostle Paul even referred to himself as the least of all the Apostles. Apostle Peter was one of the pillars of the early church together with James and John. Apostle Paul was not.

Papa Adeboye and Papa Kumuyi are men ot utmost integrity. I love and honor them. They are true fathers of our modern church that I look up to. What is there to correct them about? We learn from them and imitate them because their lifestyle and conduct are glaring examples for us to follow, copy, and emulate. They are true pillars !

I did not say they are infallible, only God is. However Papa Adeboye and Papa Kumuyi have distinguished themselves as faithful stewards of Jesus Christ in holiness and humility, and are set apart as men of renown and character concerning our common faith in Jesus Christ. Did you just say what is holiness? You erred big time ! Pursue peace with all men and holiness without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

The question should be, wetin you think say you know that would make you to be correcting someone like pastor Chris? It's not about why can't we correct him, is he not a human, is he God. The question I will put to you bros wetin you know wey you want to correct him about a subject that himself has studied with all kinds of references including the original, like the manuscript. You just heard that the thing no sound well in your ears then you are correcting. English does not need to sound correct in your ears before you know it is correct. What those pastors they try to correct do is not even correcting but simply criticism. You don't go online and start correcting someone that we never see or hear what you have said. Rather you are creating a division in the church of Christ. How will a million be correcting a billion in dollars about how to make money self. Go and look for someone at your level to be doing correction.

In the matter of respect, we all should respect one another irrespective of age, title, position or status. With regards to correcting others, what he said is completely NONSENSE. Nobody is above correction. Even Apostle Paul confronted and corrected Apostle Peter. How can Pastor Adeboye say if you don't tithe, you won't make heaven. How can even a six month old Christian not correct this error? When Pastor Chris at one time said the Apostles were wrong for not accepting they had become gods because the people taught so after they healed other. How can this heresy not be corrected irrespective of the person who said it. Johnson Suleman is in the habit of saying very wrong and terrible things and yet his followers don't seem to be discerning enough to know the difference. May God have mercy
