    Great video! I just received the exact model. I’m loving it so far. The were some issues with shipping that needed to be addressed. Once I got everything set up, I was very impressed with the Phantom V3. I most definitely agree with “This bell has to go”😂! This scooter is way too fast for a bell. A horn should come standard. New sub!

    Best Apollo Phantom V3 review on KZread imo. Thanks for the thorough breakdown. My Phantom is a mid Sept shipment date and I can't wait to go for a rip through Toronto. I love the mechanical look of the Phantom compared to the pro. Might be a little more in maintenance and keeping it clean but I don't mind, yet lol. Can I ask, what action camera setup are you using for your shots?

    I've had the 2023 Phantom for a month or so now, have about 700kms on it. So far so good. It's got a couple of creaks in the stem, but otherwise very quiet. I really, REALLY hate the software & would much rather a key ignition. That said, it's fantastic & I'm glad I bought it. So far, Apollo have treated me very well & their support chat was surprisingly informative. I'm new to e-scooters this year (I have a '22 ghost), so it's a learning curve. I use the regen brakes exclusively, I only test the disc brakes occasionally to make sure they're working. It allows you to brake a LOT later. Only once did it lock up the back wheel), and only for a second. As with any scooter, I'd change a few things (the light on the front is 1000 lumens, but IMO you should have 2K lumens & perhaps a light bar above the front wheel. Aftermarket parts are your friend. I also covered up the cables on the front a bit, with cable covers. Makes it look cleaner. Stock tires are actually very good! I've been on a gravel path (hard packed mostly, over dirt, but not always hard packed) and I've had no flats. I was told to expect flats. Maybe I'm due. One thing to note though, the Phantom on a full charge & in Ludo mode is slightly slower than the '22 Ghost (at its highest acceleration) until it hits about 45km/h, then the Phantom takes over. The Phantom is a bit shorter, so it fits into the back of my Subaru WRX, whereas the Ghost, I had to drop one of the seats to use some trunk space. Great ground clearance. The kickstand is decidedly cheap, but effective enough. I'd pay for a kickstand upgrade if given the chance. I've used the dual charger ports as well as the rapid charger & the range is about the same as the Ghost - though I've never had either one lower than 40% battery yet. I'm not sure if the 4-shock suspension is the way to go, with the Pro using single shocks, like am I pulling too much weight with the suspension? I put lithium grease on them so they're silent. I'd rather an 11" tire for a scooter that sits so highly, maybe a 12". I'd eagerly buy a puncture-proof tire, but when it comes to finding products that will fit, the support doesn't elaborate much. They have great videos on how to adjust/replace things - but the fact you need a 10"x3" tire but instead a 2.5" tube, was inconveniently omitted - but an extra set of brake pads and the aforementioned tubes - are included in the toolkit. A wrench to adjust the suspension would have been nice, but for all I know, it's in the package that comes with it. So, wee things like that - I'm spilling my own preferences & I don't design scooters nor source the parts. I'm in Atlantic Canada so there are no official Apollo shops - meaning I'm on my own to buy tools. There's about $100 worth of tools everyone should have, the most important being a portable battery powered air pump with a quick-release valve. Once you get to 50psi you want to yank that hose from it fast. Over- and under-inflation are tire killers. The display is brighter than its predecessors, but in the sun, if you wear sunglasses, you'll rarely see what's on the screen. When you're trying to use your signal lights, that's a problem. Thinking of putting a piece of plastic around the borders to keep the glare down. It's a beautiful scooter, designed in Canada, and it seems the management/owner listen to their customers & actually make changes accordingly. I haven't touched my car in 4 months, I even grocery shop with this thing (big backpack). Possibly the best transportation I've ever bought, dollar-for-dollar.

    I have questions, everybody can lock and unlock the scooter with 5 push bouton?

  • @NunchucksHabit

    @NunchucksHabit

    11 ай бұрын

    @@abiron75 Yes, you can sync up to it by simply turning it off/on & searching for it using the app. The app is more of a convenience, like, put it into Park mode to go into a store then all you have to do is unlock it with your phone's security (e.g., a fingerprint). In 'Park', the tires will be hard to roll, but it can be pushed - and carried - away. Order a bike lock, one of those sectional ones with actual keys. Unless I'm using the app wrong, it's meant for convenience & configs, not security. It's just easier to get a key on a keyring rather than dig your phone out, unlock it, connect to the scooter, iterate through the options using the 'M' button above the left signal til you get your preferred display (I like battery %, the 4th & final option - and resets every time). Then you press 'RIDE'. I get what they're trying to do, it keeps great data, but I was just in eco mode (gear #1), and I set the cruise control to be 33km/h (long flat ride on a beach road) and to enable cruise after 3 seconds of the same speed. I changed the gear back to '3' later, but the config for cruise propagated to the 3rd gear. It's kind of dangerous. The people who made the software did a few things very right, but it needs a consultant with customer UX specialty to advise. It's not a big app, but I have to kill it every time I'm done with it for the day. It DRAINS my battery (Samsung 21 Ultra) like crazy. Every time I kill the app, I get back 1.3GB.

    @@NunchucksHabit I totally agree. The scooter as a whole is an amazing product, but they really need to invest in the app integration for it to be a selling point. It’s absolutely a convenience at the time I’m typing this. Let’s hope for future improvements to really make it more useful. I’d love to see biometric unlocking functionality(Face ID). Something a little more seamless if they’ve done away with the 🔐. Otherwise Ive been loving the new Phantom. I also thought it was a great review

Really I would like to see a rating of each and your opinion on what you think is the best.

    I don't like Klima and the brand lost interest since the quality is low and the scooter I have started to rust and have issues but the brand does not care in repairing the issues. I like best the Pro for 3.5k and if you are on the 2k budget the mukuta 10 plus is the best option that I really like and enjoy riding. If you are not into speed but want quality product Apollo Phantom is my next option.

    I find the handlebars to be a bit high, but comfortable. I'm 5'10". Only thing I don't like about that setup is, the angle of the regen brake and thumb-throttle, which I need to learn how to adjust. My hands kind of lay flat over the grips so as to keep my thumbs ready, so a bad bump & I'm worried about my hands slipping forward. Otherwise, handlebars are ideal.

    If it had everything similar to the Pro model, it would be the Pro model! I have a Phantom V2, soon to be V3, and it is an amazing scooter for the price. It's all well and good saying, "yeah, if Apollo could add an electronic horn, puncture proof tyres, a better light.." etc, then the price also goes up and it is no longer a Phantom. Those motors too. So quiet! Listen, I'm 117kg/259lbs, 5ft 10in/178cm and it carries me perfectly fine. The acceleration is mad, even with big ol' me on it! I'd like to see on a V4, brighter and bigger deck lights. Slightly different shape handlebars (no real estate for adding phone holders, camera mounts etc) and maybe not quite so high (I almost feel like I'm praying when riding!). Still, a great scooter as it is and it gets the looks with the Apollo logo down the steering column! That said, I do like the very futuristic look of the Pro, but it is much more expensive!
