Question. The phantom has 1200W dual motors ( same 52V battery it seems) so, I’m assuming that would help up hills for a payload of 215 or is it the battery Volts that matter? I want to start commuting 13 miles to work but it seems what Ingather from your vid is the battery only lasts 1500 miles. If I were to commute to work a realistic total of 100 days, I would need to buy a battery every 6 months. (How much are batteries?) Doesn’t seem cost effective against a gas powered engine. May have to rethink this. I was hoping to save at least 100 a month getting a scooter

Awesome. What fun you will have. The safety equipment I wear all the time is a helmet and wrist guards. I also ride in high top boots and sometimes use a chest protector, knee pads, and a bright backpack. Plus always have a strobing light attached to your handle bars. Stay tuned, I have a safety equipment video upcoming. Thanks for watching. Scoot Scoot!

Hey bro. I'm torn between this and the varla, I'm concerned on the range of the varla, but I'm concerned on the electronics on the Apollo. Have you had issues? Is customer service good on Apollo. Thanks man it's just a lot of money to spend lol want to make the right choice.. I'm willing to spend ~2000 and want power but also ~25 mile range

  • @scootscootpev2761

So I have not ridden the Varla Eagle One, I need to because everyone asks about it. I have not had electronic issues with the Ghost. For the Ghost all I have had to do is general maintenance, repair flat tires, and replace a few screws that became stripped when I tried to unscrew them. I'm approaching 2,000 miles on my Ghost and would say the money is worth it. The other scooter I really want to compare apples for apples with the Ghost is the Kaboo Mantis SE from Voromotors. In terms of customer service it is what I expected prior to purchasing. I always get a reply, it usually takes 1-2 days, and the customer service has been helpful in answering the questions I had(like what size screw do I need to replace, etc). However, you should expect to do the work yourself on the Ghost, or any scooter, unless you have a mechanic nearby. Thank you for watching. I hope that was helpful in your decision. Scoot Scoot!

Thanks for the reply man I really appreciate it, since this is a big purchase I have spent hours and days researching. So right now I'm between the Ghost and the wolf warrior x and x pro. I'm realizing that issues come with almost any scooter but it's nice to know that appolo responds well. The varlas range is a big concern I want at least 25-30 usable miles. And the wolf's do that. What kind of realistic milage should I expect with the ghost? With like 60% turbo and the other just cruising at like 20mph? Thanks again bro

@@jaken528 I've been there. Doing all the research makes the purchase that much more worth it. As for range, if you really are going to keep the Ghost in 1st gear for the entire ride 25 miles of range is easily doable, 30 miles of range is pushing it. I don't know which I would buy if I were you. The range of the Wolf is great, the lighter weight of the Ghost is also great. Either one seems like a great choice. Good luck!

I have a 22 Ghost as well with about 500 miles on it. It's great so far. And just as stated before it takes 24- 48 hours for s reply but they are great with all issues. Did not get extra inner tubes for tires with original shipment. 4 days later I got them....

I get about 20 miles from my e scooter and it’s only 10.5ah 800w and I get 27mph. Im amazed. I usually ride max and only slow down on side roads. If I constantly floor it, I prob get 15miles but im often forced to go slower, traffic etc and I get about 20miles and im happy as hell. It’s 1 of my fav toy. Apart from my LG c1 with Ps5 and my technics 1210 turntables, mixer and few 1000 records , a few e scooters, half decent racing simulator, I don’t really own much more but I feel so grateful and blessed to have what I have and don’t really need much more. Im bloody glad too because my income, isn’t great. But boy I love feeling like superman flying on my e scooter. Im even happy to sometime cruise as low as 12mph. Like if im going 2 miles to local McDonald’s, I often cruise between 14-16mph and then I floor it on the way home. Jump red lights, run people down, anything to get home with hot breakfast. Plus I always wear protective gear, so I wouldn’t get hurt much. Especially as im an alpha male. Just joking about jumping red lights and running people down. I’d never do either and I even slam on my brakes if light goes from green to amber, when im about to pass. But I do get worried that someone behind will crash in to me. I notice most will pass red light rather then slam brakes at last second but im bit worried that police will see me. Think I jumped red light intentionally and not that the light literally changed, as I stated to pass. Also, e scooters are not fully legal yet, here in London. You can rent but not own your own and ride on public road. Laws are changing soon and I’ve done nearly 1000miles see police everywhere and they say nothing. Yes I’ve seen many KZread vids of people in London getting stopped. Police seize e scooter, fine £300 and if you have drivers license, you get points. I really think they must leave most alone because I have many miles no bother and I generally ride a tiny bit under or just over 20mph limit. I feel quite relaxed about this because 20 mph isn’t super fast and it’s only a few more mph but what makes me feel more safe from police, every other driver generally goes 26-30mph in 20 even at 24 mph I’m never level with a car. They always fly past from behind. I think it’s fine. The roads are big and most go with the flow and it just works. I’ve heard of police stopping cars and giving a fine for going as little as 3 mph over the limit. 23mph in a 20mph zone, which is most of London’s city roads, apart from motorways or highways etc where your allowed and have to go faster. But I think the police officer that does this has probably just had a really bad day or is pissed off about something. A really happy friendly officer is more likely to go easy when he can. I am actually scared to get any e scooter that goes higher then mine at 27mph. Even 40mph I’d be too tempted to floor it. Yes I’ll miss out on thrilling speed but I also won’t crash at 40 mph and probably die. Or get scooter taken away for going 40 in a 20 and it means I save money because the really expensive e scooters all capable or at least 40mph minimum . More sex and drugs for me 🍻
