Apollo 10 Astronauts Encountered A Strange Radio Signal While On The Moon | NASA's Unexplained Files

Ойын-сауық

In May 1969, the astronauts on board the Apollo 10 mission lost contact with Earth while they were in the dark side of the Moon. For one hour, they were on their own and listening to strange sounds coming from an unidentified radio signal.

    +Graham The original Apollo missions were political although many scientific discoveries and advances were made. The USA wanted to beat the USSR to to Moon. After they had "won", funds were pulled and plans to return had to be scraped. Today NASA's budget is less than what is spent on pizza in the USA each year. Yet, look at all the spinoffs from NASA technology which are saving lives and improving our lives such as digital cameras.

  • @G-ra-ha-m

    @@edhaynes4107 It was politics filmed in a studio and later in the desert. Scrapping all the equipment and not going above Low Earth Orbit ever again? No science was made - it was all total BS. Budget? BS. They have all they need and 50 years of progress and budget. When they claimed to get to the moon they said the stars were invisible and couldn't be bothered to take a photo of the earth. What do you think - Neil and Buzz stood there, looked at the earth, look at each other and said 'Nah, it's rubbish - lets photograph this dust instead'? And then look at those thousands of slightly/carefully under exposed images - look closely at the dust, the stones, the rocks. history.nasa.gov/alsj/a16/AS16-106-17393HR.jpg history.nasa.gov/alsj/a17/AS17-140-21496HR.jpg www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/AS11-40-5912.jpg Earth weathering on the moon? Why is there dust missing? Why is there no crater? How did they get buried? NASA's fakes are stupidly obvious even to a small child!

  • @edhaynes4107

    @edhaynes4107

    4 жыл бұрын

    +Graham The technology did not exist to fake the Apollo missions: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kaCjt6aMZMaZc9Y.html Rockets were not reusable. Funds were not there to pay factories to product more. Technology from the spin offs of NASA are saving lives and making your and my life easier with such things such as the sensors used in digital cameras. The rocks brought back from the Moon added to our scientific knowledge. If you have a source to this secret NASA budget then please post where it can be found. Otherwise, the yearly budgets of NASA are easily located and are public information. There were hundreds of film photos taken of Earth from the Moon in color and in b&w. Where do you get the idea there were none? www.flickr.com/photos/projectapolloarchive/21699244275/in/album-72157659007190856/ I looked closely at those images you posted (seen them all before) but saw nothing which appeared out of place. What weathering? What dust is missing? Why should there be a crater? What got buried? A lack of understanding is not evidence that the Missions were faked - especially since the technology to do so did not exist. "NASA's fakes are stupidly obvious even to a small child!" Yet nobody has offered any scientific forensic image analysis which suggest those photos and videos were faked. Of course it has to be asked - why fake the Moon landings (if it were possible)? After all, hundreds of engineers thought they were designing craft for space. A thousands of factories got paid to produce the parts for space. People were trained to monitor hundreds of systems on the craft. EVERYTHING was in place to actually go to the moon. It would have been easier just to go ahead and fly to the Moon than to try and fake things.

Although soil samples brought back on the Apollo missions have shown that the Moon is actually made of a lot of the same minerals that Earth is, unlike Mars or Venus, which suggests that the Moon and the Earth were formed together, or the Moon was created by the Earth.

    danutzy1993 well the fact that we’re still discovering new life forms on planet earth alone and have only discovered a fraction of what’s out there, speaks volumes. We’re always finding new life form. Take that, the scale of the universe, distance between one star to another, and the fact that we know we can’t reach places outside our limits indicates it’s likely we’re not alone. Doesn’t matter how you look at it. From a scientific point of view, science and maths suggests it’s impossible to say we’re the only ones out there. From a religious point of view, we cannot deny God’s power and the words “creations” [plural] in all religious text books.

    Operating different radio equipment together in close physical proximity can sometimes produce sounds like that. If two radio frequency signals are at similar frequencies they will mix together to produce an audible sound. This is usually temporary until one signal drifts away from the other, usually as the operating temperature of the equipment varies. I've heard this type of interference myself on military communications equipment so it can and does happen.

Think of it: When a dial-up modem is connecting to a server it makes all sorts of sounds as a result of compressing the data and converting it into audio. What they picked up could have been a compressed data stream sent by another civilization but they didn't have the proper equipment to decompress and process it, so instead they just heard the sounds.

    Sounds from magnetic fields is what I may have heard one time while watching the aurora one night way up north near the Arctic Ocean coast, 70 degrees north latitude. Have read of the aurora reported to create at times odd sounds but have never found anything definitive about it nor have I met or ever talked to anyone who has experienced these sounds. I'd describe it as a low amplitude noise, not like distant thunder nor ligthtning, or associated with any known noise really. Just a strange, eerie sound. This video is the first time I have ever gotten confirmation that a magnetic field can produce sounds! If that is what the astronauts heard, does that mean the dark side of the moon is magnetized? Or perhaps they were in the path of solar particles discharged from the sun such as during a coronal flare or solar storm, which is what produces the aurora on earth's poles

    There was an incident when I was asked to look at an area on my WSR-74C radar in 1994 from the Sheriff’s Department while one of theirs was chasing down “aircraft”. There were a few people that scoffed and tried to tell me what I saw. I wanted to say to them, “tell me what you do for a living and I’ll explain your job to you”.

    Actually, the moon DOES have a weak magnetic field. Also, meteor impacts raise lunar dust to high altitudes. This very thin dust is also statically charged by UV radiation from the sun. As the spacecraft passes through this charged material, it would be picked up by their communications equipment. No great mystery here.

    Yeah but the magnetic field moon has is not enough to produce sounds that loud. They captured that sound inside a closed spacecraft. Just a produced and intentional sound could produce that. That lunar dust you said, no, that couldn't be possible. The chances are pretty low to be considered. Meteors don't reach moon so often. That was a really weird sound.

    It could literally be the sounds of the moon itself. Every planetary object gives off these otherworldly sounds at certain frequencies. Maybe the radio was picking that up especially with no interference from earth. You can actually KZread search sounds of the planets and it will let you hear what different ones sound like
