Such a wonderful reaction, I loved the analysis of the music video because I hadn't really payed that much attention to it! ❤ You should really dig into some HIM, Ville's band!

Ville Valo is nowadays doing new music with brand "VV" and it feels like direct continuum for HIM.

HIM's cover of Wicked game is one of the best ones out there. Highly recommend it. Ville has the rare ability to sing some notes only a few singers can reach in the whole world. Also great pronounciation, thank you for that. 😊 ps. Lauri was always told by his music teacher he can't sing for s**t. 😂

Oh, you haven't heard Lauri and Ville before? There has to be a change! Ville's former band HIM is great. I especially recommend the song Join Me. Lauri's band Rasmus is also really good, their In the Shadows is a banger, as is Living in a world without you. At least check them out! I love you! Great reactions.

Hey there! I got you in my recommendations as I am a fan of The Rasmus and Lauri. Don't know how you feel about lighter rock but I would LOVE to see more reactions to The Rasmus. I saw a comment with recommendations I can only agree with if you're interested. FYI, Apocalyptica have played cellos on 2 of The Rasmus songs; Venomous Moon 2021 (there's a MV too) and the album track Dead Promises 2005. Lauri is also singing on Apocalyptica's Life Burns, (think it's from the same year as Bittersweet). For this song I am a huge fan of Ville's and Lauri's contrasting voices and how the cellos bind them together. Haunting and beautiful. Thank you for the reaction.

What I get from the video/lyrics is that. It's A love triangle: Ville (the guy on left of the table) is the man who the woman loves, but he doesn't love her back anymore (that is why he sings in past tense.) "I'm giving up the ghost of love And a shadow is cast on devotion. (he loved her once but not anymore) I'm bearing a cross She's turned into my curse. (He did something, perhaps hurt her? and now she became a curse to him) Oh, how I wanted you... How I needed you" Lauri (the guy on the right of the table) is the man who loves the woman, but she doesn't love him back. (He is obsessed of her, and that is why he sings in present tense) "She is the one that I adore Queen of my silent suffocation. (he loves her, but does not get love back. and it is killing him silently) I won't give up I'm possessed by her (he won't give up on her, on that love. He feels like he is possessed) Bittersweet, I want you And I need you" (He knows that she does not love him back, so it's bittersweet to him) In the video: The lady was first very calm and looked happy. Then suddenly she starts to run, like she is running away from someone. And then you see her at the swamp with these kind of "wings" and a lot of lighting going on (like she is mad). Perhaps someone hurt her, killed her. And now her spirit is stuck on the swamp. At the end, she lays down on the bed that looks like tree roots (perhaps she is buried on the swamp that bed represents that) and looks like she is resting and her clothes were white (like been pure and in peace). And that is when Ville´s and Lauri´s eyes change into black. Perhaps they were somehow trying to contact her (or Lauri was trying to contact her and Ville was just trying to look like he is helping and doing stuff wrong).... and got something else. Like demons..... And perhaps the candles represents the struggle that was going on on the table/ or when something was present like a spirit/demons.

You should totally look up into Ville Valo singer of HIM...... Lauri Ylönen singer of The Rasmus.... You should totally watch their music as well. Also their solo songs....I just love Ville´s dark/low singing voice. And Apocalyptica...love their music. Whether there is singing or not.. And you should totally watch other songs of them. Obviously also HIM, The Rasmus, Ville and Lauri solo songs..... There is actually a song that The Rasmus did with Anette Olzon called ---- October & April
