Not strictly a celtic song but to me celtic sounding. One of my all time fav heavy sounding groups. Song could have come from Middle Earth. Great song on full vol. Ancient drone instruments entwines with heavy guitars and music separated by over 800 years meet. Great react guys, thx

No, it's not Celtic music. Apocalypse Orchestra take influences from Medieval folk music and I would hazard a guess, a lot of the influences will be from their home country of Sweden. People tend to equate bagpipes with Celts for some reason. They were a common instrument in most European, and probably world, cultures. Check out a folk band, Corvus Corax - you can't beat a bit of German bagpipes.
