I watched Aphmau from the end of elementary school to about the end of my freshman year of high school. I love her role plays so much, and I was really excited when she started making a remake of MCD since I adored the lore it established. I'm ecstatic to hear this news!! Just watched the rest of the video. Rip MCD remake :(

Even if we wait more years for it I don’t mind, i’m just happy she hasn’t completely acted like it never happened or anything. It sorta saddens me when creators completely put something down and never address it again. Even little lore doodles being posted would make me happy about anyone’s passion.

This is actually insane!!!! To be honest the first half of this video felt like you hit a hugggggeeee amount of copium (to hold back the tears) but I'm grateful we have this more than anything. It's just nice to not just hear Jess' voice but to see her face and know that she's doing well. I can't believe she's had four kids and is already 33!

I understand why Aphmau gave the safe answer and didn’t commit to anything, I’m just worried. At some point, those fans who loved her old stuff and stick around in hopes that something will happen with them will get tired of waiting. References won’t be enough for much longer. She is doing some things that are more like her role plays every now and then so that is probably helping in all honesty. From what I have seen for as long as I have been an Aphmau fan, her greatest strength is her storytelling. She is amazing at it, but right now she isn’t doing it on the same level and unfortunately it’s causing some of her old fans to leave.

I wanna stay in the community I really do, but I could tell her new content was meant for a newer audience. When all this started coming out, I thought it was another one of her things to put out for content while the others are still being made, so I stuck around hoping to see something akin to Mystreet or Phoenix drop. But it didn't so I eventually left all together. I might come back for her animation, but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up again.

i used to watch her all the time, i loved her mystreet n diaries series, im getting bored of the content shes currently making tho, i hope the series continues soon, i miss it

Personally, I'm excited for Season 7 of Mystreet, whenever that will be. However, I do wish that after Season 6 had ended, she had prioritised Diaries more. Like, Season 3 just stopped out of nowhere and never got any updates, and then she tried remaking S1 for basically no reason. Diaries had so many different way it could have went and we could have met so many more characters (i.e Ein and Kai). Like, if she had the time to re-make S1, why didn't she put that time and energy into completing S3-? It didn't even need to have 100 episodes like the first 2 seasons, it just needed a good but non rushed ending.

iirc there was something about her not liking the direction s3 was going and with how s1 wasn't so story focused until like ep 50 and on, she probably wanted to flesh out the beginnings of the story

@@sonochii.s I guess, that makes sense, but completing S3 should have been a priority. She's the creator of the series, so she easily could have went in a different direction that wouldn't harm the plot too much. Most fans didn't need/want a remake at the time. MyStreet S1 was the same way as Diaries S1, but easily Aph could just say that certain parts aren't fully canon. It also just says the evolution of the channel.

That answer she gave was reassuring, she's being safe by not promising anything she can't keep while giving reassurance that there may be a final season for both diaries and my street ❤🎉

ain't no way im gonna get out of my aphmau phase at this point, but no matter what happens even if doesn't happen there's always something called rewatching im just glad after years something is finally said ^^

It’s been years since I last watched aphmau, but if she does anything my street related or diaries related, I will watch it lmao

I’m super excited that we finally got some news about both series and that she hasn’t entirely abandoned them. I definitely do think we’re not going to get anything for a long time considering what she said. I do think planning both series aren’t her top priority right now and haven’t been for a few, but I am happy that we are at least “confirmed” a final season for mystreet. Two things about MCD, I do remember her saying the reboot was cancelled, I legit could not tell you where I found this I just vaguely remember it. And then I have a small theory, I remember in an old community tab post she said she wanted to experiment with animation to tell her stories so maybe that’s what she meant by wanting to try something new? It’s a stretch but it’s one of the first things my mind went to for some reason. Anyway I’m happy we got SOME sort of official news after all this time!

It’s nice to see she finally gave us some info about MyStreet- I don’t blame her though cause the pandemic really screwed up everyone and everything- glad to hear though she’s working on the final season! Can’t wait to see it soon!

I mean from my understanding, her, Jason, and the kids were forced to stay at home with all the restrictions placed. They couldn’t go to the studio or even anywhere which caused the RP to be put on hold, then later Jessabelle came along which also added to their daily lives. I’m sure we’ll hear something hopefully in the near future.

I've been a fan of aph since 2014/2015 when mc diaries first started, if she starts something with mystreet(especially mcd) I would watch it IMMEDIATELY. I've probably rewatched mcd and the first few seasons of mystreet over 7 times, and it's always been a comfort series for me growing up. I also missed seeing content of just her as speaking candidly as herself to us, talking about the channel, instead of the persona that she has on youtube now

Honestly, even though I grew up on Mystreet, I want more My Inner Demons. Mystreet has definitely been stretched a lot.

Yeah same. I feel like (as it’s already been stated) continuing the story for Mystreet would be kinda hard. It’s literally gone everywhere lol I’d personally rather see a second season of MID instead of another season of Mystreet. But don’t get me wrong, I’m still thrilled that we’re finally getting an update on the roleplay side of things

Oh god, yeah. Despite falling out of Aphmau long ago, theres always a few series I keep coming back to every few years when that nostalgia hits home. My Inner demons, Void Paradox, and Mystreet Season 4. Though admittedly, MID and VP I found after I fell out, they still have a special place in my heart regardless. I'd be ecstatic if there was a second season to them.

I'm excited sure, but I feel more reassured than anything. I'm happy she hasn't abandoned MCD, and that she's been working on some projects. This is great news!

I watched aphmau for years and I absolutely loved her roleplays. She was definitely my favorite minecraft roleplay channel and one of my favorite youtubers at the time. Just hearing her say that it's still in the works and we will see something in the future, makes me really happy. It was the unsure feeling of "are the roleplays truly over" that made me a little scared that we would never see it again, but that fact that they have been working on it and that we will see something eventually, that alone just made me smile.

This is insane! I never thought we would get a Season 7 of mystreet maybe because it ended so weirdly, but I hope this does happen! And if/ when it does I’ll definitely watch it 💜

I feel like when it came to diaries she is wanting to tie the different universes she had together and rewrite a bit of it so it would flow together more easily. And if that is the plan that means we might get more void content in the future since the void series is link with one of the diaries universe.

I remember years ago on a livestream she said something like, she wanted to write an actual book for diaries and in general write story's. I think that idea is in the back burner but it could be what she's referencing

I hope she decides to continue the minecraft diaries remake, I really liked how she made it this time around

Even though Aphmau's new content has really died on me. I still continously come back to her previous roleplays. She can take all the time she needs i just need my final season of Mystreet

I’m so happy about this!! I’m glad she announced it, even if it’s a long time I know it’ll be good since she’s spent a lot of time on it. I’d rather it take years than have it be rushed!

Now it's time to start theorizing on returning characters. Obviously Aph's gonna try to give as many of the characters as she can a happy ending, but I worry as to which characters are gonna appear and which ones aren't considering some characters like Dante haven't been seen in years or their old VAs have left for one reason or another like Laurance's Sebastian Todd who retired fully from voice acting. I also wonder what potential plotlines the season could have outside of Lucinda trying to regain her magic, Garroth having to deal with being a Werewolf, Travis coming to terms with the truth of his lineage, Aphmau potentially having to deal with her own Void Burns since she did have some along with helping Aaron who was blinded and amnesic on top of his really bad Void Burns, Zane forgetting everyone's names, Melissa having survivors guilt with her parents dead, Laurance having to contend with the fact one of his best friends is the Ultima, Dante finally discovering the truth about Gene's past, and Kawaii~Chan/Nana running her Maid Cafe with the other problems. One potential plot I thought could happen is Katelyn having PTSD from Starlight, now whenever she gets angry or throw a punch at someone, like Travis, for a stupid comment she has a bad flashback to when she was under the effects of the Forever Potion and nearly has a panic attack each time only to be helped out of it by the others but it becomes clearer and clearer the time in Starlight changed her, sadly yet understandably, forever ironically. Another is really dark but at the same time an interesting one if you're willing to hear me out, Kim at the end of Season 6 gained monochromia due to seemingly merging her soul with Emmalyn's. For this plotline, at some point Kim starts wondering if maybe she should just give Emmalyn full control of her body... permanently to give her a second chance at life... or third rather? Justifying it with her life basically being nothing before being posessed by her to which Emmalyn will argue otherwise. How it ends? Who knows?

@@shadow24- Honestly it's not that surprising that you forgot about that plotpoint. The end of Season 5/Starlight made it seem like it was going to play a very important role in Season 6... Yeah... About that. Outside of a very select number of times I can count on one hand and a few mentions about it being "Garroth's Current Condition" it really didn't even matter in herms of relevence to the plot and made it just look like Jess just added another unecessary stake in the story.

Unless Season 7 plans to wrap up, or for that matter do, those thirteen potential plot-points one episode at a time, ala set up for one episode and let the next one conclude it, and save the whole "One of the three pieces of Irene's Fractured soul" plot point for the rest of the season. Again, I doubt it. More than likely the whole "One of the Three Pieces of Irene's Fractured Soul" is either going to be retconned or glossed over through a simple explanation that'll shoot down any hope of another season exploring the concept since Season 7 will be the final one.

When I saw the clip of her announcing the return of Mystreet, someone had asked her a follow-up question from the audience after she mentioned her thoughts with Diaries. The mic couldn’t really pick it up but then Aphmau responded with, “Book, maybe?” I like to think that was one of the ideas she had for Diaries, to make it into a book series instead which would be really exciting!!

Aphmau was the first KZreadr that really sparked my love for creators, role playing, Minecraft, creativity and dream for being a KZreader! Like I was obsessed with her content, it was one of the few things that could truly keep my focus and make me yearn for more, she had me watching entire series, daydreaming, crying, cheering, just a huge roller coaster of love and excitement! I haven’t watch all of her series’s but the series I did like I watched all the episodes for! I haven’t watched in a while since the role plays stopped, but I’m excited and glad to come back to it all with my kindle for it coming back bursting anew!

LETS GOOOO! I’ve definitely grown out of her content but I’ll watch her content only for the series! I can’t wait for the new season! Mystreet and MCD was my childhood! I’m so hyped for this!

I would love to see aphmaus “something a little different” for diaries be kinda like an animation! I know she’s always wanted an an anime and with all the money she’s making now, and all the technology we have, I think she’ll do an animation for diaries like her own anime! This started my birthday off with happy news. I’m really glad that both series are still in her mind. Her output on mcd was interesting as there’s a chance that it could be animated. I know both new and especially old fans would love to see where she takes both series. Aphmau forever has my support and patience. 🖤🖤🖤

Personal opinion we really shouldn't hope for anything like an immediate update, like he said and should have doubled down on it still may be a couple more years before we see any updates on the actual progress on Mystreet the final season. And what he neglects to explain, is that LIFE HAPPENS. Not only was that the "safe answer" but it was also a REALISTIC answer. We MIGHT see a Mystreet final season in the future. And we might not. Not just cause "oh Jess can't come up with any ideas" but that likely Jess will want this to be a big project, and for it to be a successful one, and that takes TIME, MONEY, RESOURCES, SUPPORT, WORKERS, And PAPERWORK. A lot of things can go wrong and it's not like the world around is a stable enough environment for all of us adults to work in and follow our dreams without repercussions. Like nobody could have ever predicted or expected covid to happen, and that made things really difficult for Jess too. So over all she IS working on it, and Does want to do something, but do not expect something Will come of this much less that we will get any sort of update on the development, anytime soon after this panel. Jess has gone silent on updates considering her roleplays before and we have waited literally years for some kind of news. And we may still wait a few more here after this. So BE PATIENT. And BE KIND. And BE UNDERSTANDING. Most of us should be adults by now. And hopefully would have learned something from all the drama years ago during her roleplays, and all the demands we made, bullying, and harassment some others did of her cast members. If we get a repeat she may call the whole thing off, and as she should. We should be mature enough to handle this by now. Anyway. As far as Diaries I would even expect a total scratch of the original idea of diaries and a totally new, story/idea to be created, and that pays small tributes to diaries but is not at all the focal point, or in anyway the same story or a rehashing/revamp of the old diaries we once new. And that IS IN FACT a good call on Jessica and her crews part. After all her last revamp did not get the views and support she needed to continue it, and ultimately had to be cancelled, after she had put so much love and care into the old one. As much as some of us may have liked to see it. I think this is a far better use of her time and money. I'm sure a new story idea is probably something she's thought of, but these things take time and if she's going to work on anything I'm sure she'd be putting most of her time and energy into Mystreet when it comes to roleplays, and a new story in a similar genre MAYBE to diaries would be something like a side project that gets some amount of love here and there but like Mystreet and far less potential is still not a guarantee anything may come of it at all. For Mystreet, I think it's promising she's been working on it for so many years, and hasn't given up, and that chances are we MIIIIIGGHT see something, but please do not get your hopes up. Cause those of us who actually care for the people behind the scenes, and what we see at face value, would despise, would absolutely hate to see a repeat of what happened when Mystreet and Diaries were over hyped and the fans were completely out of line and unbearable, and there were no boundaries, and barely listened to Jessica, who put in so much work and effort into everything, and was crushed by what happened. I mean Y'all drove Laurences voice actor away, harassed Kestin, and Garreths voice actor, who have other jobs too. It was very very sad. So please be more responsible and mature this time. Especially since we will likely also be dealing with new fans who were also children or middle schoolers or high schoolers like we once were and will need to be reminded of those same boundaries, and having respect for the creators who work so hard to make this sort of content. A lot of us are older now, so we need to look out too. Anyway, I do love y'all. And I hope we see something too, but not banking on it. Just have fun, continue to leave your lives like normal, and like you, I'll be here for the next major update if it comes out.

It was not fair for Jess and the crew to deal with harassment from fans, and if she backs off from the rps because of it happening again (which I seriously hope DOES NOT happen) I wouldn't blame her one bit. Everyone worked so hard on them to make them good and like you said, life happens and they have jobs, families and deal with their own things. So, I agree with you and you were speaking facts. Idc how long it takes for mystreet to come as long as it's good, which I'm sure it will be IF a season 7 does come. Thank you for saying this. THANK. YOU.

Honestly I'm just happy that she thinks of this to this day! I agree that it IS hard to continue off of something like that, At least we got Her wish (Which is more our wish but whatever). I will wait as long as she doesn't just give it up out of spite, She became noticeable because of her world building and how surprising her plot twists are. In conclusion, I'm glad she still remembers it, even if it takes years for her to do it.

mcd was my childhood, back when it was regularly scheduled and they barely had voice actors, half the characters were npcs i think they lost the story after about the 70th episode (before she comes back/time travel)and theyjust wanted to continue the story, i hope they can revive it to what they initially went for

Aphmau has been my childhood. I remember crying, laughing and waiting every week for each new episode of her roleplays. Even now, I still re-watch her roleplays and have the same reactions to when I first watched them. I don't watch her videos as often now but I still support her wholly. If it takes months or years, all I can say is that I'm happy the series is coming back. Knowing Aph/Jessica, she'll be making the best version of it, I just want her to take her time with the creative process.

Though the wait for news of mystreet s7 has been long, it’s nice to know she didn’t just forget about it. Knowing she has been trying to come up with a plan for it and possibly mcd aswell is very comforting. And although we may have to wait a few more years again, at least we know it’ll come back at some point. I will be waiting very impatiently but either way, waiting. Also hoping for another season of My Inner Demons aswell 😁 (coincidently i was talking about aphmau a few days ago and how we may never get another role play again so this vid made me very happy haha.)

Your thoughts on it are definitely intresting, for me. To be honest, I am glad that she said that there'll be a new/final season of MyStreet. I have two reasons. One - I've been wanting a continuation for a year now. and two - she'll get out of the current style of her videos, of like "gamer cats' and so on... that she's been doing for at least four years. I am SO hyped right now! Luckily, I came across this video. Without it, I'd had a breakdown when I finish the series. Now, I am rewatching MyStreet in the chronological order, thw whole 325 episodes. I'm so happy that there'll be at least 20 new episodes!! OOMGG

after growing up and noticing some things that didn’t sit right with me about aph, i was always left feeling confused and slightly disappointed at the end of mystreet and MCD because there was clearly more story to tell and im glad she has stuff in the works. hope she’s improved as a writer and is able to produce a great story for these series

I have a idea that could be a backup if she can’t think of anything: She can create a My inner demons season 2, while in the meantime she thinks about what should come next for mystreet season 7. If she finishes the new season for my inner demons and still doesn’t have a clue, she can try to recreate mystreet season 6 (kind of like a alternate universe), this giving her the ability to switch up details in the story so it can fit an idea for mystreet season 7. Recreating mystreet season 6 will also give her the opportunity to animate the entire season, which has been a dream of hers to do. Let me know if this idea is good or if you have any ideas 🙃

I remember watching that in middleschool and highschool then during senior year when the pandemic hit and everyones "yea okay its done for" my heart broke. I'm so excited now.

Kinda sad though, I mean it's great we might get new seasons, but what about my inner demons? It was very interesting to watch, and I'm still happy if we get new seasons, meet new characters, everything. We're still on cliff hangers, what happens to Ava after she was found, what's going to happen when everyone finds out that the mission failed and the boys didn't bring back any humans? Mystreet, 1000000/10, it was well put together over the years I will say, Aaron's and Aph's love story, Zane and Kc's friendship and romance, even Ein just being evil was well played out.

I'd love to see a book version of diaries personally, because it makes sense to write it like an actual diary.

the thing that worries me about a continuation of mystreet is the cast. to my understanding most of the voice actors from the original cast no longer work with aphmau. this had been happening even during mystreet being released, Sebastian Todd being a notable example with Laurence basically having to be written out as a result. but from what I know even more left the project afterwards, though that could just appear to be the case due to mystreet no longer being in production. but if this is the case, it means a lot of characters either being recast or, like laurence and other past characters, being written out entirely, which either way will fundamentally change the show. I don't know how the series would look if, for instance, Garroth was recast, since there have been rumors of TheDragonHat leaving. the cast of characters in mystreet underwent a big shift in the later seasons due to people leaving the project already, and depending on how many more of the voice actors have left the team since the end of season 6 I'm worried a season 7 may not even be recognisable with such a changeover.

If we're being honest, projects of this magnitude require lots of scheduling, money, time, and coordination. And things can change of the wall without warning, so "it'll happen eventually" is a pretty respective and lenient answer to both the people working on the MyStreet project and the fans as the fans are reassured that MyStreet will happen, while not putting the staff under any major time crunches. If anything the longer it takes the more amazingly put together the show's final season more likely will be.

A Mystreet finale would be cool and all, but I personally would rather a season 2 for my inner demons 🥲

I've had the same belief for years now and that's that she wants to continue roleplays/writing but it's hard asf. plus there's pressure to make it as good as the old series.

Honestly, I have no clue how to format this comment and I'm sorry if this has any bad grammar or is just poorly formatted. I hope Aph takes all the time she needs. I would rather have a good series finale that takes more than a couple years than a series finale which feels very rushed and pushed out. Cause, I would feel very disappointed if the final season that everyone has been waiting years for turns out to be complete garbage and only exists for the purpose that there actually is one. I had never minded waiting for new episodes of her MC rps. It kinda reminds me how indi animation series work to this day. I never understood the people who pushed for new epsiodes since thst would only affect the quality and the drive of the person creating it. You cannot rush quality and im ALWAYS happy to wait for new series especially ones that bring back good memories. MCD and Mystreet got me through some tough times

One thing I am hoping she will end up connecting is Void Paradox. I absolutely loved what she had done with that series and can totally see it becoming connected to all of her other stories :)

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she changed diaries or even my street. To all the OG’s out there, you should know that diaries did drastically change over the course of the seasons, and started not feeling like a book, and more like a role-play. With one, Aphmau/Jess not showing her face, and they’re being more focus on the characters- and less of first person view. She said herself that she wants to do something different with diaries, so maybe it will start feeling like my street. But I don’t have any hopes for it being continued- I think the story is fine the way it is. And she should focus on My street before anything else. But it’s been like 3-5 years, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the storyline dramatically changes for either Mystreet. However, that does make me wonder if she will ever go back to my inner demons- since she’s had ideas for my street and even Minecraft diaries.

it is most likely to come around 2025 or 2026 since the time to write and film ,but i am pumped. though( unpopular opinion) i could never get into Minecraft diaries. but now I'm wondering if she is going to continue with my inner demons since a lot of the cast are available but probably not because the maps are so detailed and the affects take time.
