For me, this song is about reconnecting with the present moment. The present moment is both life and death. It's not about loss, its about connection. In the video, the main character reconnects with Source. This wholesome bond is available to us all, at any point in time. Undoubtedly we've all felt it at one point, even if just in dream. I almost jumped off Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in 2017 and what I learned is "If d3ath was so simple why is life not simple" I got out of being secluded from the world and now I'm starting web development. I've been feeding birds to the point where birds come to me. I even recorded them and posted them on my KZread channel. Birds teach me to be patient and have stillness, they don't have food much here where I live. They travel and come back because they know I'm not here to hurt them. Life changed for me, now I don't think of having a expensive house, car, relationship. Life is too simple for ideas and not accepting simplicity. I'm a guitar player so being humiliated is good to be a great performer. Being simple is being humiliated, having the notion to learn doesn't need a book or teacher. It needs your consistency and dedication. That's with everything in life.

my dog that helped me get through my grieving of my grandma died 3 months ago and this song reminds me of her. my dog was the first pet i really connected with and me and her were best friends and this song always reminds me of her. Woke up at 3am to this song on shuffle along with other aphex twin songs and I just started bawling and couldn’t control myself. I’m usually the type to hide my emotions very well with people and I tend to cry about lost one’s months later but I just can’t move on. Crying right now as I’m typing this.

Richard (Aphex Twin's real name) is the GOAT of making music. His songs can invoke different meanings and interpretations to people listening to this song. IMO, this song sounds like a lonely day. It can also sound like a slow ballad to dance with your loved ones with. Or it can also sound like your dad playing a lullaby to put you to sleep. Listening to this song made me cry because of how sad and calming this song is. Thank you, Richard, for making these good songs.

This is my favorite song by Aphex Twin. In 2023, Spotify said that I listened to this song 377 times, without skipping. I hope other people get the same feeling as I do from this masterpiece.

Such a beautiful song, because of my older brother he turned me onto them as a teen. I love Aphex twin and I’m now 46 on almost 47 years old… unfortunately my brother and I are now estranged we don’t speak haven’t spoke in several years and it will never happen. it’s bittersweet because this movie was something that we watched so many times together and we shared Aphex twin in common so this really tugs at my heart and to my brother,… if for some reason you ever read this…. I’m sorry for everything and I love you and I miss you more than you will ever know.

⁠ it’s a very long complicated story. That’s just hard to talk about without me crying. we had a really tough upbringing my brother and I and my brother and I we just went through a lot of things together especially as children . A lot of things have happened like I said it’s so hard to explain but I know for sure he doesn’t want anything to do with me and he never will and I just have had to learn to accept that these past several years. I’m just thankful that I have the good memories that we shared. Maybe one day he will want to talk to me, but I don’t foresee that happening anytime soon. It’s already been over 10 years… I don’t know how to find him. I don’t even know how to reach him or get in touch with him. But thank you. It means a lot in this lonely world. ❤

@@jackassir6060 Thank you for this video. I just finished reading _Watership Down_ last night. I had watched the movie when it first came out, many, many years ago, and when I was very young. I think I cried throughout and didn't understand it. I had always interpreted the title as an allegory for the end of the world, for apocalypse, the world being the Watership, and down meaning it had sunk or was lost. I had owned the novel for many years, always wanting to read it, but too frightened it would devastate me and leave me sad for a long time to come. This music video popped up in my feed about 5 months ago. I was moved to tears. I love this song very much, and the beautiful animation fit it perfectly. After finishing a book trilogy I was slogging through, I decided I would read this novel, finally, after putting it off for so many years, thanks to this video. I learned that Watership Down is an actual place. Though in some way, Hazel-rah, Fiver, Bigwig, Hlao-roo, Acorn, Dandelion, Silver, Holly, and the rest suffered an apocalypse, they also found through the combination of all of their talents, their camaraderie, temerity, and tenacity, they could survive the 1000 enemies, and find a new lovely life basking in the glory of Frith on Watership Down. _Watership Down_ is like a Greek heroes' tale. It reminded me in many ways of _Jason and the Argonauts_ or of Homer's _Illiad_ . It's simply one of the most gripping, beautiful novels I've ever read. The English countryside comes to life through every page. Never have I read of a more noble cast of characters, save, perhaps, in _Lord of the Rings_ . Their love and loyalty to one another, their reverence for the divine, and their own sacred hero, El-ahrairah, casts them in the most indelible, glowing light. They are mighty, yet fragile, daring, yet ephemeral, paragons of all that is noble, all that is good in life through friendship. For anyone who reads my humble comment, please read this masterpiece by Richard Adams. It's a true work of genius, and there are few other books like it.

My Family once adopted an old english setter, that was found in the swiss alps and would‘ve put down otherwise. He spent 4 good years with us, until one day, when we were back in the italian alps (very close to where he was found) he walked out the gate of our house and never returned. He was a very quiet dog and he barked no farewell. We looked for him for days, the dogs lost his scent not far from the village. I hope, that this is how he died. Knowing his time had come, without fear, finding rest between the rocks and intense smelling herbs. This happened when I was a boy and I felt like I had failed him. This Video brought me to tears, but also „healed“ me. Rest easy Quintus, or whatever your real name was. You‘ll forever be our fifth!

This track always puts my life to a peaceful yet confronting stop. Helps me to really revaluate where I’m at in this non stop life and think about all the people I truly love and care about . It’s a beautiful composition.

Guys don't lose hope, there is a better future upon you, you just gotta have hope and continue instead of giving up. I am an 22 year old who recently decided to make the big jump in my life and just traveled to other countries (while broke as s***). I'm now back in my hometown and have achieved things in a short while that I believed was impossible for me to even think of. Just hope that it stays that way :')

to me this song is about the love we need and the love that is around us it's about how we live and breath how its apart of us always without fail and without caution it will always be there.

Watership Down is one of those films from my childhood that haunt me. There is something about those 70s/early 80s animations that got to the core of you and then just stuck. Paired with AFX, this couldn’t be better! The Last Unicorn and Fantastic Planet are others that still stick with me. Night, all!

This film is one of the darkest children’s films ever. Aphex Twin has produce some seriously dark music in the past. Putting these two together for this you tube vid. I can decide if its evil or genius

I remember when Syro was first released. It took a while for its quality to really shine as It felt so different from previous releases. I knew Asiatsana was going to be a classic bit of RDJ piano music right from the beginning though. It’s it’s like looking out at a museums courtyard during a grey cloudy day.
