You're videos are amazing─I've been playing this game for about a month now & have been desperately trying to grasp the learning curve. Your videos have been momentous for me, this is defiantly going to help me step my game up! Appreciate you and all that you do!!

Sensitivity is really based on the user. Keybinding changes can definitely help but I play with a moderately low sense and I am diamond. I recommend going in the practice range and snapping to targets and if you overshoot (aim passed it) or undershoot adjust your sensitivity until you fine tune it to yourself. And then work on tracking by playing with a friend or activating the bots and move around and try to keep your reticle on the target. This is also good for practice but don't over do it because it can cause fatigue.

I just gotta say thank you for putting in the chapters to your video. I was looking for something specific and this video would've been way too long to sift through to try and find it but I was able to go to the exact point I wanted based on the chapter names

Can ya make a video bout Setting how to adjust graphics screen? Im having trouble trying to adapt my CPU & my Monitor together

Just in the process of switching to mnk this definitely helped a lot. I don't understand why I want my dpi lower but I changed it. I was 1600 and 1.8 no I'm trying out 1800 and 2.5. I have small space for aiming and only use my wrist anyway

dpi ~24000, in system (?) and in game (should be 1.0) sense ill have to look up. My setup is focused on completely remove mouse acceleration at higher sensitivity. If my aim feel unstable on a particular day ill decrease the post/poling rate from 1000 to 500 or lower. Ngl I miss my controller though.

Ooh, so - I would recommend **not** changing your polling rate, based on a specific day. That's a bad habit alot of people fall into. Like we said in the video, it's better to stick with your settings. Because, at the end of the day - aiming comes down to muscle memory. Your hands combined with your brain, learn how far they have to adjust the mouse to go a certain distance.

400dpi. 3.0 sensitivity is where it at. I use to be at 800 dpi and 2.4sens but after gradually decreasing and decreasing It's improved my game alot. Too many people with high sensitivity these days and they're aim is awful

I won my first 1v1 after this video. Super chuffed. Even though the other 2 killed me. Been struggling to win 1v1.

Can't believe I've been playing with pointer precision on this whole time!! I'm level 123 lmao. Just turned it off and instantly my aim feels more fluid and less stiff!!

Higher fov makes dealing with cqc easier. Thats it. Taking in info from your peripheral is not as effective as holding the proper angle, using your headset, and staying aware.

If you have time can you confirm or correct on what I have thus far? DPI = 800 Mouse sensitivity = 1.6 FOV = 108 1x/iron sights = .5 2x = .6 3x = .6 4x = .6 6x = .7 8x = .6 10x = .5

I used to play other non fps game at 400 dpi, try sensitivity at Mouse : 2.2-2.6 ADS : 0.6-0.8 , change shake movement to minimal if you feel dizzy.

Recently switched from controller to mnk but I use a g502 because i fumble keys in tense moments it helps but i’d love to use something lighter

At 8:42 where you said you will throw up the optimal settings and we can pause it...I see no settings on screen. Hmmmm....

Can I do this??? I've moved to M&K and the thing I strugle with is the weapon stow and switch so I have auto run on and stow on L Shift which works for me. However to get the weapon out I use the scrol wheel down and I cannot break the habit. I feel if I could have L SHift also pull the weapon back out I would be fine but it has to be a seperate key

I hate having forward on scroll. Absolutely hate it. On one hand I like tap strafing but with it were more a skill thing and not a scroll thing. On the other hand I hate dealing with people that use it. Its always fun to see it though.

i put my sensitivity at 1.5 and its so ridiculously slow, is it something to do with my mouse? because if i set it at 1.5 its super slow and takes 1 and a half swipes to make a full rotation, the most moderate and comfortable sens is at like 14.0, could it be my mouse sens in windows? idk

For anyone that has similar issues with nerve pain in their arm, do y'all have any advice for keyboard setting to reduce pain. I haven't been able to play on PC since I left the army and really want to get back into PC gaming. had to switch to PS because it was too painful to play longer than 30 mins.

Hello, i dont have nerve pain tho when i move my fingers a bit it bothers my nerves a bit its bothering and uncomfortable but not painful for me I Recommend getting a hand grip gaming glove and massaging ur arm before and after playing a bit and take breaks from 2 to 6 minutes after each game, Also take a 15 minute break after 1 hour or 30 minutes, i hope this was helpful And Good luck

Dude, that’s a fucking genius thought. I’m not even kidding. All the crouch hip firing movement during fights would be so clutch to have right click be toggle crouch and ads on the thumb side button on your mouse. That’s huge dude. Definitely gonna try that shit 😂😂😂

If I had a better suited mouse for my hand I would stay like that but my G305 side buttons make my thumb nerves do weird stuff. I have the same with middle finger right click but nowhere as near as the thumb discomfort.. I wish it works for you though, keep it up sir

Ok. I have a Logitech G502 Hero. I did have the DPI at 5400, and the mouse sensitivity around 3 - and the speed of the movement felt good. I've changed to 800 and feels really sluggish... I'm not trying to say I prefer real high acceleration but actually wondering if I have another setting that is making it quite slow?

@@proguidesapex seriously, 5400. The value in G Hub goes past 6k 😅. Definitely a wrist person, but I'm more questioning whether actually there is something else wrong .... Or I just like it that sensitive. I will need to see the settings on my mates pc 😅

Today, after seeing your video I have it set to 900 with 4.8 on apex. Feels slow, but I can definitely feel this is smoother if I get used to it.

I'm on controller. I have to tried mouse and key on apex but i fumble around in gunfights and my movement is trash. A guide for a controller players converting to mouse and key would be great.

Go over the nuances, subtleties and or the not obvious stuff. Then at the end go over the different mouse grip styles. Bonus: get one of those Azerons and see of it works!

He is saying to increase the ADS sensitivity by the same percentage as your FOV scale. So if you play on 110, you’d set your ADS sensitivity to 1.22. The math is 110/90=1.22 for true aim value.

@@Jankos_s13 around 90 FOV is just the best average setting for the aspect ratio 16:9. Most people on PC will be using 90 or above.

honestly its just up to your personal preference. ive used razor corsair and steel series mice and i prefer the razor products but it all comes down to what you like yourself. theres not a huge difference other than the way the mice are shaped. playing on mouse and keyboard will feel weird asf for a little but once you start to get the hang of it it starts to feel a lot smoother. ive been play m&k for 8 months now and i started at only a 1.5 kd in apex but now am just slightly under a 3.0.

Its better to have lower ingame sens and high dpi. I use 0.54 sens amd 2000dpi. The lower dpi the more pixel it skips, so you want to have it high, and lower ingame sens. Also I recomend sens lowest possible for you to comfortably flick 180

Yes, that is why I run mouse sensitivity at 1.7 and ADS at 1.0 - 1.4 all with a dpi of 12,000 :)

Most gamers just pick a round sensitivity and adjust from there. Like Shroud for example, he plays at 2.4 on CS and 2.9 on Apex. I highly doubt he sat there and got the perfect sens. What he did likely is he messed around, probably tried 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 etc. He was like 2.5 is too fast, let's try 2.4... perfect. Or on the other hand someone might try 1.5 and its slightly too low so the go 1.6. Thats why you see so many sensitivities like 1.9, 2.4, 3.09, 1.6 and whatnot. You just kind of come up with something that feels natural then dial it back a hair for accuracy or turn it up a hair for movement. Its not as scientific as people make it out to be. Just do what feels natural. You shouldn't think about your aim, and your eyes and crosshair are more responsible for whiffs than sens is 99% of the time.

7:52 he says that whatever you shift your fov to you also have to adjust your ADS mouse sens, yet didnt once adjust ADS mouse sens, he adjusted regular mouse sens... lol

800 dpi 2.1 / 1.0 ADS

I genuinely have received conflicting information and am still confused on something: Is there genuinely a difference between the following values? 4.8 sens on 400 DPI 2.4 sens on 800DPI 1.2 sens on 1600DPI 0.6 sens on 3200DPI I've heard the response time in milliseconds can change, but I'd really like to know what changes here.

ingame it wont feel much different, depends on the mouse. All mice have dpi deviations, like 800 might actually be 792 while 1600 is 1612, however it shouldnt be drastic enough to change the feel of ur sensitivity. the response time of the mouse with different dpi is heavily debated, however anything will be fine (unless u use a custom dpi under 400) as the difference is often negligible FEEL WISE (for me atleast) so use what u like however id recommend using anything over 800. the response time of the mouse also depends on the type of movement you do, slow movement from what i remember has the highest deviation (400-3200 maybe like 10ms difference) due to what i presume to be insufficient amount of information (dots per inch) while fast movements have very little deviation(400-3200 like 5ms). tl:dr Use anything over 800 to be safe, 3200 for lowest latency (over 3200 has very little change in latency). also should consider versatility of high dpi as ingame sensitivity sliders are often ass for most games and make changes in sens very drastic, thats why lower dpi is more versatile, also some people just dont change the dpi when they get the mouse. +ive have used 400-1600 dpi and i have a m42 (updated software as stock has very bad dpi deviation) + a lot of people who switch from console to pc use high dpi settings, however people who have always been on pc seem to use low dpi's. just an observation

@@L3ttr7 Thanks for the detailed response. Now that you mention it, lower DPI is more customizable given you can get the in between values a tiny bit better. I asked this because I went from the 800 DPI equivalent to 1600 and then 3200 respectively. In retrospect, the response time difference, if there is any at higher DPIs, is probably negligible in real world terms. I heard higher feels "floatier" and lower feels more "grounded", but technically they're probably the same at the end of the day. At least, I've felt little to no difference in running from 800 to 3200DPI with equivalent sens (2.4 to 0.6 respectively).

@@andyauger yeah exactly, there is a difference in number but not in feel. Don't forget a lot of pros still use 500hz compared to 1000z (polling rate) which means they are at a 1ms disadvantage, and some of those on 500hz also use 400dpi which stacks on this "disadvantage", yet they still manage to play at the top level. Air58 for example is a very popular mouse pros use that only goes up to 500hz. I personally value comfort and versatility over a tiny decrease in latency.

It's kinda lame because my dpi on my mouse means nothing, I use a corsair mouse and apex anti cheat sees my mouse software as a cheat engine so I have to close it out completely which changes my dpi from the normal dpi I play at on other games, it's really annoying because my normal dpi is so smooth and perfect for me but since I literally cannot use it to play apex, I have to get used to a whole new dpi SPECIFICALLY FOR apex
