7:14 Leon’s tech in place options are equivalent to his tech away because Bowser’s tech rolls are so slow and short so I disagree with what the commentators are saying here. Only way to avoid a down smash is tech in which will be caught by back hit or sometimes still the first hit (not tipper) because Bowser’s tech is just that bad.

Bowsers tech is SO slow and goes like half a battle field platform. He also has a frame four air dodge. Heavy tax sucks :/ really was hoping he would win

Yeah a lot of people put Bowser in A tier but honestly, his weaknesses are so exploitable. His options off the ledge suck ass and his techs suck too. The better your opponent, the worse Bowser is :(

He can’t even escape Ganondorf’s grounded flame choke. If Ganon down tilts it’ll hit Bowser no matter what direction he techs. It’s big bad. Makes me more frustrated than anything else when playing Bowser.

@@JacobBush16 yh this one was crazy, I found out when my brother was playing bowser and I just kept d-tilting after flame choke. I was like why even try to tech it then at that point.
Jakal's use of Up Tilt is so clean.

@@oblivion6226 nah bowser actually slightly beats wolf due to how bad the offstage is for wolf. he can’t really do anything to avoid flame and f tilt when recovering
