Just to make it clear to everyone: GMod, Half Life and Portal use the same game engine (that what controls the physics and how the menus work), that's why he uses the same kind of console and cheats as you would in one of the other games. In this case he is playing a mod for Portal 2

The defective turret it's a mod, dude. You need Portal 2. It then replicates and modifies the game files, doing things such as add the Gel gun.

imagine being the core and your test subject straight up goes out of bounds into literal nowhere instead of leaving

I like this ending the most, since you keep the paint guns powers.

I really broke it. I was almost in the elevator, but then the door closed, so the elevator left whiteout me, and I was stuck down there

I just love how in the alternative ending, it reveals that you were never really outside.

Wow, you don’t understand. Portal takes place in our world, (not the real one, but an alternate universe.) but you are very very deep underground. Do you think that a 30 second ride upwards would let you go to the top? No. The games like to make fun of you wanting to be outside. They have rooms in Aperture that are designed like the outdoors, but are clearly fake. I don’t know how you didn’t notice that it was fake, but it is fake. There is a real surface though. You get to see it at the end of Portal. (1) We all know that it’s not real, because we have common sense, unlike you.

+koko6504 I just played it back to check and found it's pretty easy not to die. If you jump off the platform as you go through the doorway you can stay there without dying. You can also jump down in some places on the edge and survive. That's what happens when you don't have playtesters.

The gels are colors of the portals!

It's possible to break the game even harder, because you can jump over the Trigger and walk free around. This isn't possible with your way, because they've added an invisibe wall around the "hall"

Guys, this music is sad when you play it on certain occasions. Lemme make a scene. It's a k-12 school, you have been with your friends for more than 13 years. It's almost summer break. The bell rings to dismiss all students. Everyone goes to their bus and opens the window to wave at the teachers. You wave to your favorite teacher. Everyone in your bus is leaving, and you are the last one to get off. You can't stop thinking about the days with your friends. Sometimes, you just wish you could restart and experience the 13 years again.

it’s after the MAIN events of the single player storyline of portal 2. the co-op campaign has a different storyline as well and so aperture tag fits nicely into the co-op campaign time, after the events of portal 2 single player but before the end of the co-op campaign.

Watched in 2017, got back in 2023...

I mean does it suprise anyone? This game was put together horribly from a modding/mapping standpoint. I mean you can tell before you even start the game with its method of putting all the menu options as chapters in the start new game screen like what. We know it's possible to create custom menus because portal stories mel did it with normal and advanced mode
